Sean glared at the closed door irritation crawling up his body and tingling his spine. He needed to get out and put his plan in progress but the drafted secretary was refusing to pick his calls.
"Damn it!" He cursed for the tenth time in less than two minutes.
Why can't people stop looking down on him and listen to him for once?
"Darling, come to have lunch with us," he heard his wife's voice even before she appeared standing before his door.
"No, my darling I have no appetite to eat right now," he replied with a smile.
"Nonsense," she frowned, "You need food to survive if you're gonna keep working your butt off."
"Alright darling, I'l
Dario stepped into the hotel room and headed straight for his room. His sister was ignoring him and he had no idea why but he didn't want to ask her anything he was avoiding an argument. The moment he opened his door and stepped into his suite, he saw Natalie sprawled on his bed asleep. She was looking so beautiful with the way her jet-black hair was scattered all over his pillow. What was she doing here? He wondered curiously. He yanked the door close hoping the noise would alert her but nothing she remained sleeping. Why had she decided to torment him by doing this?He went out to his sister's room and after knocking for a while, she pulled the door open her eyes heavy with sleep. He knew it was late but he thought she had genuinely put Natalie up t
"Natalie?"Dante sighed. "She left with her dad already."Leo sat down on the couch, he was already feeling bad for suggesting they give up hope that she still lived but now, she was alive and she didn't want to talk to him.He had come into the sitting room to see Dante sprawled on the couch, looking dejected and frustrated."You guys need to talk," Leo stated."She won't even look at me," he replied, "she hates me.""I'd murder you if I was her," Leo smiled."Thanks for the suggestion," Dante replied dryly.Leo
Lips locked together moving in perfect synch, Natalie couldn't help but marvel at the sudden realization that Dante Rodrigo, the man she was supposed to dislike with all intensity and hate him with renowned passion was kissing her.But that was not what made her upset. It was the fact that she was kissing him back and enjoying it and...and she...A moan escaped her throat and all her thoughts and worries were forgotten instantly.Dante plunged his tongue deep into her mouth teasing all her senses. He had missed her so much and it hurt so bad.He was expecting her to pull away but she didn't and instead she had kissed him back. That thought had surprised him but it had comforted him with the thought that she was going to be his once again.
Lisa chuckled as she hanged up the phone and ushered the kids into the car. They had to drive quickly so they wouldn't miss their flight to Hawaii.Waiting for Natalie had taken a toll on their time and she was still trying to contact Sean to meet them at the airport instead of coming back home."Ava, Daniel get here right now!" She hollered at the kids still standing by the playground. Only Noah stood beside her.Trish walked up to her a smile plastered on her face while her brother remained standing at a distance, a scowl on his face.Lisa wondered what his deal was and thought it probably had something to do with Natalie's sudden change of plans."Hi, Lisa. Uhm...we don't want to intrude si
"What did you say?!"Natalie chuckled as she stared at the excited face of Trish. She had managed to trace her way to come see her after telling her how Dario had left for Hawaii with Sean and Lisa.Natalie shrugged, he probably wanted to go blow off steam there with some other girls, she wasn't in the least concerned. She had been thinking about Lexi after Dante had finally agreed to go back to work and know-how his company was doing after leaving them for a while.Seeing Trish, she had been overwhelmed and they had started trading stories about what has been happening until Natalie told her Dante had asked to marry her.She may not be Lexi but she had the same positive energy same as Lexi an
"Too bright!""Too shabby!""Too fancy!""It's my wedding I get to decide!" Natalie snapped finally at the horde of women staring at her and refusing to her every demand. She was sitting down in the office of a well-known wedding designer and after knowing she was getting married to Dante Rodrigo, all dresses Natalie had chosen to wear was rejected."You're also a Christmas bride, baby!" The woman exclaimed like she was the only one getting married on Christmas day.Problem was that Trish shared her excitement and it infuriated her more because she couldn't stop wishing that Lexi was still alive.&
Sean dropped his binoculars on the sand and smiled. Dario might think he had the upper hand by always being with his son all the time but that only made him a perfect little victim. His wife was rubbing a sunburn cream on her body and she wasn't paying attention to him neither were Ava and Daniel as they were focused on finishing their sandcastle."I need your help, honey," Lisa gestured towards him holding out the cream. He smiled and hurried to help her apply it to her back.He checked his wristwatch and smiled. It was time to get the ball rolling.A few more minutes later, there were gunshots and everyone on the beach dispersed running around and screaming at the top of their lungs.More th
Lisa stared at the exchange her husband had with Dario silently without saying a word. She knew there had to be an element of truth in what was being said but no one was willing to explain to her.Sean had barged out a few minutes later after Dario had left and she hasn't seen anyone since then. She couldn't help but feel that something was happening and she was in the dark.A few minutes later, when she saw neither of them, she headed towards the lodge where her kids were securely locked in.She saw Sean and Dario whispering in low tones, for some odd reason she didn't want them to see her so she crept towards them hiding."How could you do this, Sean? He's your son your blood!" Dario yelled suddenly.
