The night of the feast passed in a blur of activity. Everyone was happy and there was plenty of mead and food and it was the best possible attitude among the people. Silas came with some of his wolves and it was nice to see them have a nice time, both packs combined. I was annoyed to see that Sydney came and the only reason I didn’t demand she leave was because Silas had asked beforehand if she could attend. Over the next few weeks, we settled into a routine. My days were filled with pack business and my evenings were spent with either Stienn or Einar as they taught me the old pack legends so I could pass them on to the pack. And my evenings were spent holed up in my room with my mates after a nightly phone conversation with Blaze. We were intimately familiar with one another now, with no hesitation or shyness on my part to be with them both. Being with them both is just as effortless and comfortable as being with one of them. It was easy and comfortable and I felt secure in the fact that the pack was finally settled. I stood back and watched as the border guard went back to their posts and Echo and Ezra led the two wolves away with Marco and Andrea right behind them. I was confident that they could handle guarding them while they cleaned up and ate. “Please tell me one of you locked the door?” I panted as they both kissed and nipped along my neck.“I did. I don’t want any interruptions while we have our way with you.” Kane insisted as he gently pulled my hoodie up and over my head.“Thank Gods. Sitting in the room with Laris, Echo, and Ellis was an interesting experience. Laris watched us all with a critical but amused eye, no doubt thinking it was amusing to see a young Alpha try to help a couple navigate a mate bond when I myself had made a mess of mate bonds in the past and in the present if I was being honest.
