“ Do you know who she is?" Monica asks floating in the air, blue smoke emerging from her body, glaring daggers at Silas.

It took a while for Silas to recover from the shock he was in, blinking a few times before letting his pried talk for him.

“ Do I look like I care?"

Monica fell in rage and the smoke immediately turned to blood red. She launched at him, attempting to kill him but Reed stepped in front of his son causing Monica to stop in her tracks.

“Please, forgive my son, he is foolish and prideful, I failed to reach him properly."

" Indeed, you have, he has the power and the authority of an Alpha but he is prideful and doesn't think about the consequences of his actions.”

Silas felt angry at his father for pleading on his behalf, he attempted to push his father aside but Reed didn't move.

“ Who…who are you and how did you come out of that child?” Thalia asks, still in shock at the whole drama.

Monica looked at Thalia and the once blood-red smoke returned to its blue form.

“My name is Monica, and this child your rude and reckless son rejected is the true Alpha and not just any true Alpha, the one that is beloved and dared by the Moongoddes herself; and I am the wolf sent to protect her and stand by her side.”

A gasp was heard from the crowd who were still forced to submission position. Reed, Thalia, and Silas were wild eyes once again.

“ It can't be, this child…this child is nothing but a worthless wench that means nothing. How can the Moon goddess choose her of all people!” Thalia said, looking at Marietta's bloody body on the floor with hatred in her eyes.

“How dare you question the Moon goddess and call her child a worthless wench?! It's clear you don't know what the Moon goddess has done for you.”

Thalia looked like she was another to talk back at Monica but the glares Monica and Reed were giving her stopped her from saying anything.

“Please, forgive my wife, she does not understand what the Moon goddess has done for her and I failed in every aspect of teaching her,” Reed said with his head down in shame.

Monica didn't say anything and everywhere went white as a graveyard except the night wind blowing the dried leaves away in a union.

“I harm those who harm her, cause those who curse her, protect those who protect her, and kill those who try to kill her.”

Monica said looking at Silas with her blood-red eyes as if warning him that she would be back for him. She veered around to look at Marietta's almost lifeless body lying helplessly on the floor, kneeled before her and the blue smoke surrounded her, the blue smoke surrounded both Monica and Marietta with a wind strong enough to uproot trees and damage houses.

The moon turned blue and shined brightly on both Marietta and Monica making the blue smoke that surrounded them shine bright blue.

Everyone witnessed in shock at Marietta’s body floating in the blue smoke enveloped her body.

Monica looks at Marietta with love and care before turning into a blue smoke disappears into thin air and is laid gently on the ground.

The crowd was still in a daze when they heard someone coughing. Marietta slowly opened her eyes and blinked a couple of times before trying to sit up. She looked at everyone with wild eyes and confusion.

“Where am I, who are you people and why are you staring at me like that?”

Sylvie ran towards Marietta, “ Are you alright, do you recognize me, do you remember your name?”

“I think so, except my head keeps feeling like it's being hit by a rock, I can survive. By the way, who are you, where am I and who are these people?”

“ Do you remember your name?”

“ My name…my name is…”

Marietta held her head and closed her eyes as if trying to subside the pain she was feeling.

Reed, feeling guilty at what his wife and son did to Marietta, looked at her with pity and vowed to protect her and fund her education until she was done with her studies and he would send her to a far-off pack to protect her from his wife, son and anyone who wishes to harm her.

“Sylvie, don't stress her too much, please take her back home and tend to her needs,” Reed said, feeling ashamed to look at Marietta who was staring at him in confusion.

It was the last day of school and Marietta looked at her reflection in the mirror, she was wearing a black hoodie black ripped jeans, and black booths. Ever since the night  Slias became the Alpha and Marietta lost her memories a year ago, she had found a liking to any clothes that are black but she wears other colored clothes too.

Marietta stared at her reflection in the mirror again and was satisfied with what she saw. She took her backpack and stepped out of her house.

Sylvie was already waiting for her in her car and honked at the sight of Marietta, signaling her to come over.

“Morning sleeping beauty, better hurry up, we're gonna be late for our last day of school, and the last days of school are always the best because you get to do whatever you want and not get in trouble for it!”

Marietta laughed at how silly Sylvie sounded and did her face.

“I'm coming,  I'm coming,” Marietta said in between her laugh and got in the car.

“You love causing trouble don't you?”

“Oh come on, it's always fun to cause a bit of trouble, you have to live a little or you will regret not doing it when you get older.”

“Well, since today is the last day of school, what do you think we should do?”

“Come to think of it, we don't have to do anything, why? Coz the trouble will come to us.” Sylvie said with an evil smirk, started the engine, and started driving.

“What did you do?” Marietta asked, looking at Sylvie with a suspicious look.

“Oh my dear beloved friend, you'll see.”

“Oh my Moon goddess, what has she done?” Marietta said, looking like she was about to cry.

Sylvie parked her car at the parking lot that she saw open, they both got out of the car and started walking towards the entrance of the school hall.

The school entrance was decorated with toilet paper and people pranking themselves and their teachers.

“Now I see why you were super excited to come to school today,” Marietta said, looking at the decorated entrance and laughing.

“You haven't seen anything yet my dear friend,  the fun is just about to get started,” Sylvie said in a whisper.

Immediately Marietta entered the school hall, a really loud and furious scream was heard, making Marietta jump out of her skin.

“What…what was that?” Marietta asked no one in particular and scanned her eyes through the bodies of students around her.

“That my dear, that my dear is trouble.”

“What…what trouble?”

“We better get to our lockers and head to class before it gets here,” Sylvie said, pushing Marietta through the bodies of students.

“Who did this!?” The furious voice of Lolla. “who did it? Better talk now or regret it later.”

No one said a thing and the once noisy hall had now turned to be as quiet as a graveyard.

Marietta looked up to see Lolla covered in pink gue. She widened her eyes and turned to look at Sylvie who looked unmoved by the condition Lolka or anyone was in.

Marietta whispered to Sylvie, “Was that the trouble you were talking about?”

“I can say for sure, coz I did a lot of this to different people and can't seem to remember them all,” Sylvie whispered back before smirking and continuing her business.

Marietta decided not to interfere or have anything to do with Lolla and faced her locker. She opened it and brought out her chemistry and biology textbooks. She closed her locker and was about to leave when Lolla covered in pink gue that had pink glitter mixed in it stopped her in her tracks.

“Oh, I didn't know it had glitter in it.”

“You, you did this to me!” Lolla said, pointing her finger at Marietta.

“Did what? I didn't do anything.”

“Don't lie to me, I know you hate me because Silas and I are still together. You act as if you don't remember anything,  but I know you are pretending and plotting your revenge.”

“I honestly don't know what you are accusing me of but, I gave a class to attend.

“Did you see how Lolla stared at you with helplessness and drained of life, gosh that was so fun and refreshing to watch, I wish school didn't have to end so quickly. Sylvie said as she drove me home.

I got out of the car and bed Sylvie goodbye. I walked on the muddy floor and was surprised to see Alpha Reed in front of my
