“Valentino?” someone called out to him.
Turning his head to the right, he said, “Fuck off, Grayson, what more do you want from me?”
Grayson sat down beside Valentino. With a sheepish smile he said, “You should not be drinking such strong wine, you will die.”
He scoffed, “It’s fine. It’s not like there is anything worth living for.”
Grayson sighed. He gazed up at the moon and said, “Valentino, you know what a mate means to us. I am really sorry for leaving you hanging like that. I did not mean to.”
Just as Valentino wanted to growl at him, his phone dinged beside him.
He picked his phone up and read the notification: Wolf, you have a message from Lonely Man.
