My legs moved faster than I could pace, my heart beating faster with each step I took towards the block. Immediately I got there, I heard a loud scream, like someone punching the door, and it flew open. A student blew outside with blood gushing out of her lips.

"The heck," I muttered, walking inside. I saw different students laying down on each other, and Xandra glared at each of them dangerously.

"How did you..." I was unable to complete my words when I heard Niylah's frail voice, tears and sniffles audible. I walked toward her, bending to her level. She covered her body with her palms, her face smeared with bruises. She looked so pitiful, her hair rough, and the way she cried hurt my feelings. The notion of hugging her surged through my veins, my blood boiling with anger towards whoever came up with the idea of what just happened.

"Are you okay?" Xandra asked, walking towards her and touching her shoulder.
