Henry's POV

The tension that hummed between Liam and me had reached a breaking point. I could feel it in the air as I approached him, heart racing and fists clenched. I’d had enough of his arrogance, enough of his manipulation, enough of Niyla being caught in the crosshairs of our rivalry.

“Hey, Henry,” he said, that mocking grin stretching across his face. “You still think you can pull her away from me? You’ll regret that.”

“Regret?” I spat, anger surging hard in my chest. “You’re the one who should regret that you thought you could take something that belongs to me.”

The world around us buzzed with the hushed whispers of onlookers, excited murmurings echoing off the trees. For some reason, I felt their anticipation pulse in my veins like a sadistic enabler. They wanted to see us fight. They wanted to see drama. Well, they were about to get more than they bargained for.

Liam stepped forward, chest puffed, and I felt a primal instinct take hold. Without thinking, I charged at him.

The world around us faded—the pack, the school, even the spectators were mere afterthoughts. Everything stilled in the moments between strikes—heart pounding, muscles taut. But then, just as Liam lunged to claw at my side, a voice cut through the chaos like a bolt of lightning.“Stop!” I froze mid-motion, my wolf instincts momentarily overtaken by a familiar presence. Henry's POVThe air was heavy as we stood there, a tempest brewing not just between us but beyond the chaos of our past. The truth had barely begun to settle over us like a dark cloud ready to burst. “What does that mean for us, then?” Liam’s voice broke the silence, raw and bare. “What am I supposed to do with this information? If I was meant to have a rightful place, why was I treated like a pariah?” For just a moment, the remnants of rivalry faded beneath the tides of our shared history. There was something undeniably primal in the air, and it was heavy with the weight of revelation. My mother stepped closer, her voice firm but gentle. “The past may remain tangled, and those who threaten your existence will always loom near. But there’s power in knowing who you are, Liam. Together, you two possess more potential than either of you will allow yourself to believe.” “‘Together’?” I scoffed, but the doubt I felt gradually began to twist deeper. “Don’t scoff, Henry,” Liam retorted,

I could feel every heartbeat echoing in my chest, my mind racing to piece together the chaos unfolding before me. Liam furrowed his brow as the elder cast accusations, his voice like gravel echoing through the trees. “You cannot hide from your past, Liam Ryder,” the elder spat, each word layered with contempt. “Your mother’s lineage is a curse; she was only an Omega, and her blood is tainted.” “What the hell are you talking about?” Liam shot back, fury sparking behind his eyes. But amidst the chaos, I found myself caught, my own heartbeat quickening with every passing moment. “We will not allow a traitor’s blood to contaminate our pack!” the elder continued, his voice rising with each word. Before I could process the implications of their threats, something shifted within me—a confidence rooted deeply in my own heritage, my loyalty spiraling into anger. “What did you say about his

Stepping into the clearing once more, I saw that the elders had moved farther back, their conversation low as if they had not just threatened our very existence. She had always been the Omega—the weakest, the underestimated, the one who bore the brunt of others' expectations and their scorn. Every day had been a battle against the tides of her reality, a struggle to carve a place for herself in a world that thrived on hierarchy and dominance. But tonight, everything was different.Memories flooded her mind as she took a deep breath. She could still remember the whispers that followed her, the laughter laced with cruelty echoing in the corners of her mind. “Niylah the weak, Niylah the expendable,” they'd call her. As Sophia’s revelation twisted around us, I could scarcely grasp the gravity of what she had confessed. The air crackled with uncertainty, but behind it all was a thread of betrayal that hung heavily in the silence. It ricocheted through each moment, wrapping the three of us in a storm.“She disguised herself as Evelyn,” I thought, the notion too surreal to digest. “Why would she go to such lengths?”Every detail felt like an incomplete piece of a broken puzzle I strained to assemble. This woven narrative hung precariously, every new thread threatening to unravel the ties that bound us together.“You played Evelyn,” I finally managed to voice, disbelief still clinging to my words. It felt surreal, as though I were watching a play unfold rather than witnessing the reality standing before me. “Why would you put yourself in that position? Why hide in plain sight?”“I did it for you!” Soph

Sophia’s voice drifted through my consciousness like a haunting melody, testing the strings of loyalty and trust. She stood before Niylah and me, a woman who’d carried the weight of being our beta and yet had slipped in her duty to protect the very foundation she held dear.“But you think you can just... pull the wool over our eyes and pretend it’s for our own good?” The words were out before I had fully processed them. I felt a mix of anger and disbelief at her veiled intentions, but there was an underlying concern—what else lay hidden behind those secrets?“I thought I was doing what was best!” She cried, small and earnest, the vulnerability in her reflection stirring something inside me. “I know I’ve made mistakes; I laid a path of betrayal. But I wanted to shield you two from the turmoil happening outside our borders.”In that moment, I felt the weight of my initial fury shi

As the moon painted the clearing in ethereal light, I could hardly believe the chaos that had descended upon us. Sophia's words swirled in my mind, but the anger within me felt justified. The betrayal was fresh; it still stung like an open wound. Why had she kept us in the dark? It was unfathomable. Trust was the foundation of our pack, and now those foundations seemed to be cracked and crumbling.“Betrayal,” I echoed Sophia’s words. “That’s what it feels like. You were meant to stand by us, to protect us. Instead, you chose to act secretly.”“Could you not see that it was for our safety?” She looked at me imploringly, and I could see the tremor in her hands as she spoke. Maybe I was too harsh; Sophia was our beta, and she wore that responsibility heavily. But that didn’t excuse her silence.“We’re all carrying our own burdens, Sophia,” Liam’s voice was steady, c
