Lady Vienna scrunched her nose, “Who?”
“I’ve lost my appetite. Goodnight.” That was all he replied before standing up and leaving the dining room.
Lady Vienna was left in silence and Huxley stepped in.
“You crossed the line for today, my lady,” he commented.
Lady Vienna chewed on her lips at that. “Was that too horrible to talk about?”
She gasped for air, inhaling and removing the stranger’s hand. She tried to make out his face and remember him but she couldn't. He was wearing a black hood cloak. She suddenly remembered the mysterious man who gave her the book. She could remember him as a handsome man with silver hair and black eyes but this man now is hardly recognizable. But she’s sure it’s him. She cleared her throat, “Are you the man who gave me-” Suddenly, she felt an immense headache in her mind, not able to complete her question.
So this is a threat. They didn’t have any intention of killing her. But who could these men work for? She thought of many possibilities but there was nothing she could think of. It sure is not Countess Toivo’s men…could it be Titus? But that man had been missing for a month now and he never did this to me. She thought to herself. “No.” Lady Vienna was about to end it with a final blow when her grip
He nodded, “Yes, so that I could easily locate where you are but that’s not important. I have a lot of questions in mind but for now, let’s head home before you get sick.” She can’t help but look at his appearance. He looked handsome, even though he’s dripping wet and dirty except for the mask he had. “But Raziel, your clothes…. I thought you hated getting dirty?” She pointed out. He just shook his head and with one swift motion, she was in his arms. He carried her bridal style and started walking. He looked at Lady Vienna in the eyes, “Really, you have the nerve to think about others when you just drowned yourself and were about to die, Vienna.” She just chuckled at that. Suddenly, the thought of the mage who appeared in her dream came to her mind. “Raziel…Do you know any mage lef
“Please my lady, wake up now.” Cried Roxy, sitting beside her lady’s bed. Ever since she fell into a coma, guilt was eating her. She begged and prayed for Lady Vienna to wake up. “My lady! If you wake up now, I promise to end my relationship with Huxley!” She yelled, now sobbing. She hugged Lady Vienna’s body. Minutes later, Lady Vienna’s eyes opened and she was greeted with the sight of her maid crying to her. She cringed in disgust and sat upright. Ew, your snot, Roxy.” At that, Roxy’s eyes widened and looked at her lady like she’s a ghost. “My lady! You are awake!” She then went outside and told the other maids to alert the duke and retu
“Come on Huxley, I’m just going to go walk outside.” Said Lady Vienna to Huxley, who came to check up on things. More specifically, to check if she attempted to escape again. After that incident with the Duke, he kept on visiting her room but most of all, he has been very strict for the next few days. He had been ordering the maids not to even let her out on a walk. And it kills her. Me, the Lady Vienna with a
Fedel looked like he was about to piss his pants, sweat coming from his forehead and he looked like he was held at gunpoint. Lady Vienna gave him a smile to urge him and Fedel just sighed. “Fine. Follow me, my lady. I know a quick way outside.” He said. Just then, Lady Vienna strapped her sword inside her dress and told him to get out of the way and she jumped out from the windows. Fedel’s eyes went wide from that but he reassured himself that it’s Lady Vienna we are talking about. She’s not just a typical weak woman she knows. Lady Vienna then
The three of them were seated at the Duke’s study and were being served with tea. “Have some tea, brother.” Said Lady Vienna, breaking off the tension between her brother and husband who was looking at each other with such fiery gazes…almost as if they would eat each other alive. Her brother, Auden Xaviera, looked at her, “No, I came here to tell you this quickly.” She nodded, “So, what is this emergency, brother?” S
Lady Vienna threw daggers with her eyes to her brother, “Tell me, brother, why are you being harsh on him? Weren't you friends?” His brother sighed and finally admitted, “I just hate that I wasn’t there to help you.” She snorted at that, “I’m fine, brother. Things like that happen. I was even kidnapped a few times in the past, right? I’m strong.” He nodded, “Yes, I know, I was thinking…what if you didn’t wake up? I was just worried. Please understand me, Vienna.”
