Gwyneth snorted in amusement, her eyes flashing coldly as she stared at the woman impassively. "Am I changing the subject, or are you the one slandering me using some comment you found online without proper evidence?"

The woman began to panic for no reason, though she gulped and quickly composed herself. "What are you talking about? If it wasn't true, why didn't you make a statement? What is that if not a sign of your guilt?"

"I know what I'm doing." Gwyneth smiled nonchalantly, her cool gaze darting past her to the rest of the crowd.

Whipping out her phone and brandishing it at them, she said, "I won't lie to you—I've recorded everything everyone here has said. So? Care to join me at the precinct and settle this directly over there?"

Stunned that Gwyneth would pull such a move, the mob was at once furious.

However, they were feeling guilty too since they did not have evidence to back up their claims.

Even if they had, they had no right to meddle with Gwyneth's personal life!
