Chapter 276 I Don't Want You To Take Any Chances

Gwyneth gripped her phone tightly, as if her confidence was suddenly shaken. She genuinely hated the feeling of being in the dark, or, more accurately, the feeling of being manipulated by others.

She asked, "Who are you?"

"I told you, there are a few things I need to explain to you. I'll be waiting for you across the bus station at nine o'clock tomorrow morning."

"If you don't identify yourself, I probably won't…"

A reorder tone was heard from the phone before Gwyneth could finish. Irritated, she involuntarily clenched her teeth.

When Liam noticed the abrupt shift in her expression, he felt a little worried. He asked as he inched closer, "What happened? What's wrong?"

Gwyneth cast a glance at Liam and breathed a sigh of relief. She said softly, "That man claimed that he was my mother's relative. He wants to talk to me about something."

"Are you sure he's lying?"

Liam gave her another cup of tea to put Gwyneth at ease.
