Chapter 232 The One Who Was Substituted

Gwyneth simply did not want to act pretentious—they were married, and anyone would consider it an issue if they could not share a room.

After taking turns to shower, they both lay in silence on their respective single beds that were added hastily. Liam actually found legroom scarce on his, and Gwyneth clearly noticed that.

Her lips twitched a little before she eventually asked, "Want to trade beds?"

She could do that much—especially when it was for her own sake.

"Just sleep," Liam replied.

Neither spoke after that, and the room was once again silent, but Liam's response comforted Gwyneth more than her bed.
