“Alright then! Get ready within half an hour and reach the training ground nearby, where the troops are being trained for the war. I will be waiting there too.” Alpha Gabriel was happy about her decision and marched towards the ground.

“She thinks I should be her daughter! But I don’t even know the way to my room. How would I get ready?” Ella wondered.

She called the maid who was cleaning the table towards her and said, “Can you just take me to my room? I have injured my feet."

“How will you command the army with your feet injured, Lara? I will accompany you to the room and heal you there. But why is your healing power not working, my child?" Mrs. Rolex asked, worried about her daughter.

“I have almost healed, mom. Just a little bit of pain is still left. That is, it, mom. You don’t worry. You know how strong your daughter is, right?” Ella said she was trying to sound as genuine as possible, although she was worried if Lara spoke in the same manner or not.

“Mom? But you always call me Mammy, right? I am finding your ways and methods a little strange. Has that witch done something to you?” asked Mrs. Rolex, worried again.

“Mammy, it was just a slip of the tongue. Just kindly take me to my room. It is already getting late. Alpha Gabriel might get vexed.” Ella tried to change the topic.

She was led inside the mansion by Mrs. Rolex. She was awestruck to see its beautiful designs and décor. The mansion seemed to have all the amenities that a high-class human mansion would have. She was taken into Lara’s room, which was a masterpiece of construction.

“Shall I help you get dressed?” asked Mrs. Rolex.

"No, Mammy, I will dress myself up. Thanks.” Replied Ella.

Ella knew how to get dressed for a battle, as her father was in the army. She was surprised to find that the werewolves wore the same camouflaged uniform as humans during the war. She wore light-weight body armor that she found in the dressing room, which would protect against bullets, and a soft vest of lightly woven laminated fiber to provide protection against handgun rounds, followed by the camouflaged uniform. Finally, she wore a helmet to protect her head.

She waved to Mrs. Rolex as she walked towards the training ground. So finally, you have arrived! You can give some guidance to your troop before we march to the battlefield. Remember that you will be fighting Alpha Amelia, since she is a woman as per the rules of the werewolf community, and I will fight with her powerful beta. If I find that you are unable to win, then I will reach out for your help.

She tried to give directions to her troop about the signals and ways that she would use during the battle so that there was effective communication between her as a commander and the troop. Thereafter, each troop marched in its fixed direction at the Alpha’s instructions.

She tried to be as confident as possible while leading the troop towards the east. She wasn’t even familiar with the forest and the path that she was following, but then she decided to follow the sun, and finally, she reached a spot where she could find a huge banyan tree. No sooner had she reached there than Amelia’s army had already started throwing gun powder at Ella’s troop.

She somehow escaped the fire and looked behind the banyan tree, where she found a lady commanding the army. She was much more muscular than Ella had expected. She seemed to be ten times stronger and more powerful than Ella. Her heart missed a beat. “I would seem like a mouse in front of an elephant if I fought with her, but still, I have no option but to fight.” She thought and moved ahead, and she was soon face-to-face with Alpha Amelia.

“Oh! So, you dare give me a challenge and fight with me? I will crush you within minutes, Lara! Did you forget our previous encounter? Haha... You almost escaped death. But I appreciate your guts. You still didn’t give up and wanted to die a brutal death! Good! I will enjoy the battle, I guess," exclaimed Amelia mockingly.

“I don’t know why I failed last time, but today I will defeat you and kill you mercilessly. You will crave forgiveness, but I will not grant you pardon. You better stop worrying about me and think about your own survival.” Ella warned Amelia.

“How did I gain sudden confidence? How could I speak like that to a lady appearing like a monster? Save me, Moon Goddess!” Ella prayed as she answered the first round of the sword-fighting session.

Ella successfully warded off several blows and managed to counterattack as well. “Never had I realized my inner strength. Perhaps I never had an opportunity to experience it.” She thought.

It was a backbreaking task for Ella to sustain in the battle against a werewolf. She felt that she would be easily overthrown, and she was just fighting a losing battle. She was already injured and bruised severely since she was not well trained in the art. But in the situation that she was in, she was quite complacent with the fact that she was able to defend herself, at least.

Baffled and irritated at not being able to defeat Ella, whom she considered Lara, Amelia was already in a towering rage and dropped her sword, getting ready for the second round of wrestling.

Ella was on pins and needles as she understood from Amelia’s actions that she was challenging her for wrestling. “You bitch! You fucking defended yourself well in the sword fight! But I assure you that I will not let you breathe during the wrestling round." She had defeated her human friends in casual fights several times due to her good physique and because she had it in her blood. But wrestling with a werewolf almost double in size seemed to be strenuous.

Amelia easily lifted Ella and banged her on the ground like a basket-ball player would dribble a ball. She held her aching hips and bruised elbows and tried to gather courage and strength enough to get up and counterattack. Amelia felt that she had already won the war and started rejoicing. But Ella hadn’t given up yet. “If I lose the battle, then my destination will move farther away from me. My aim is not to win the battle but to escape from the island, reach my city safely, and take care of my siblings.” Ella thought as she prayed to the Moon Goddess again.

Ella knew that if she could use the power stone by reflecting it on the black magic of the witch, then certainly it would turn ineffective immediately, but how to remove it and take it in her hands was the question that was troubling her.She felt that the only option left with her was to take out the power stone using her mouth. She kept bending forward towards the pocket of her dress, but then her tied legs prevented her from reaching out to her pocket. She kept trying with the hope that she would succeed in getting it out. The power stone was her only ray of hope that could render all the tricks and actions of the witch ineffective. After a long struggle of almost two hours, she finally managed to reach out her mouth towards the pocket. She removed the power stone and reflected it using her mouth over the ropes with which she was tied. Since the ropes were the result of the black magic of the witch, they gave way, and Ella’s hands and legs were finally freed. She could now move th

Ella woke up in the morning, surprised that she had fallen asleep in a standing position inside the cage. She checked for her power stone and was relieved that it was still there. She didn’t want to use it unless it became urgent; otherwise, the witch would snatch it away from her, and she was scared that her powers would increase. She wished that she could sort things out with negotiations rather than any fight. The sun's rays were entering the room through a small aperture, and it didn’t seem as frightening as it was at night. The foul smell was still troubling her anyway. “I will try to get my work done today and just leave this hell as soon as possible.” Ella thought to herself. She was glad to see the witch return to her room. “I hope you spent an awesome night in the cage, my darling.” She said it with sarcasm in her tone. Ella’s blood seemed to boil at her remark, but she still kept quiet.“Would you like to help yourself with this decoction that I have made? Trust me, you will

It was a steep hill, and so it seemed like a backbreaking task for Ella to climb the top of the hill. She could see an old building right on the topmost point of the hill. It seemed to be dark and scary from a distance. Ella wondered how these witches could survive in such a dark, old residence of theirs. She wanted to know if the witch resided there all alone or if there were more witches staying with her. She felt like she was on a trekking adventure.Ella climbed up the hill as fast as she could. She wanted to reach the building before sunset to avoid being frightened by the darkness. After climbing for almost an hour, she finally reached the top of the hill and was relieved to see Alpha Gabriel’s soldiers, who were standing scattered at secret places throughout the surrounding area.As she entered the witches’ residence, the witch appeared in front of her. She was old, and she had snaggle-toothed and sunken cheeks. She was crone-like and had wrinkles on her face as well as a wart

Alpha Gabriel left for his territory after dropping Ella off in the southern part of the island. It would take him nearly five hours to reach there, and he felt it was necessary to contact his Beta Clara on an urgent basis. Fortunately, he remembered her number, but he didn’t have his smart phone with him. He had enough gems with which he could buy a new phone but decided not to waste time over that. His glance fell at the cab driver’s smart phone as he was talking to some other customer. “Could you lend me your smart phone for a while, please? I happened to lose my phone accidentally.” Alpha Gabriel requested.“Oh! Sure. It will be my pleasure to help you, sir." He said this as he handed over his smart phone to Alpha Gabriel. He was greatly relieved and finally dialed Clara’s number. “Hello! Clara! I hope things are fine in our pack.” He asked.“Where have you been so far, Alpha? I am getting mad at the situation here, as I cannot handle it all alone considering my health.” Clara got

Ella almost dragged her body towards the outskirts of the forest. The forest seemed to be dense and unending. Alpha Gabriel walked ahead, and Ella was following her quietly. The path on which they were walking was full of thorns and was piercing Ella every now and then.“Isn’t there another path to reach the outskirts, Alpha?” Ella asked in frustration, as moving further seemed difficult."Unfortunately, this is the only way to reach the outskirts of the forest. This demon landed us in such a place that escaping from here seems tedious. If I were alone, I would have taken my wolf form and reached it by now, but as a human, waking up on this path is cumbersome.” Alpha Gabriel said:.“It is not that I don’t want to move ahead, but the path is infested with thorns, making it impossible for me to walk ahead, Alpha.” Ella complained.“I have an idea. I can carry you if you want. You are just like a baby for me—small and delicate but hot and sexy at the same time. Don’t stop me if I start t

Finally, Alpha Gabriel woke up, and he was surprised to see Ella place her head on his chest. He stroked her hair gently. “What is it, Ella? Are you getting sentimental?” he asked.“I am just trying to live up to each and every moment that I am spending with you, as I doubt that these might be the last ones.” Ella said it emotionally.Alpha Gabriel placed his hands on her lips. “Don’t speak like that. We will have more of such times in the future, I believe.” He said this as he produced the diamond necklace that was among the gems that the demon had given him as a reward. The chain seemed elegant and beautiful.“Now close your eyes, Ella.” Alpha Gabriel commanded.“Why should I close my eyes? I mean, I want to see you as much as possible before I return.” Ella asked in surprise.“Just close your eyes for a moment, Ella. Can’t you do that for me?” Alpha Gabriel requested.“Okay. I will close it for a while, but don’t be mischievous because I am already petrified in the forest, and if y
