68. Traitor

...Haley POV...

When I woke up I was both groggy and confused. What happened? Where am I? I wondered to myself. I sat up and grabbed my head as the pain began to sear into it. I winced from the severity of the pain. I tried to open my eyes to figure out where I was. I looked around, but nothing seemed familiar. The room was practically empty apart from a bucket in the corner. The walls were made of a mud-like concrete, as the entire room was a neutral brown colour. From the ceiling to the floors. Everything was plain and dull.

I closed my eyes trying to focus on how I got here. Fragments of memories began to swim in my mind. The heist. The car. The noise. The gunshots. Damian.

Oh, my Gawd. Damian. The memories of Damian lying on the ground motionless woke me up. My head had begun to stop spinning, which is when I remembered that someone had knocked me out. It must've been whoever shot Damian.
