With only a towel wrapped around Ben’s waist, he dashes out of the bathroom towards Ford, who is sitting on the couch. Ben is so glad that he’s a werewolf right now. No normal human would be able to stand or walk if they took the pounding that he has taken over the last several days, but he’s not complaining. No. If you ask him, he will be more than eager to go for more rounds with his amazing mate, but right now, there is something more important happening.
Ben plops right next to Ford on the couch as Ben nearly screams, “My parents are here. Baby let’s go meet them. I have some time before my heat kicks back in.”
By the way, when will Ben’s heat end? Usually, most mated couples would be able to rejoin the meals in the pack house by now, but Ben and Ford can’t. Ben’s heat is still kicking in every few hours after they already have had sex for hours.
I still don’t understand why I have to be the one to do this meeting. I know that this contract will benefit Wyatt’s company, but I still don’t understand what else is going on. He did warn me to find out who else is working with the human company. From the information that he has given me, it appears to be a werewolf pretending to be a human, but neither Wyatt nor I have been able to figure out why. However, I know that there must be a reason. Our pack has a reason, but it is for the pack’s self-preservation and to hide ourselves. But are other packs having the same problem as us? I didn’t think so or are we just that far out of it that we don’t know.Maybe, it is time for us to begin going to the werewolf meetings again.I pull up to the hotel, park my vehicle, and grab my things before I head into the hotel. Well, I guess I should enjoy myself while I’m here. Right.
I think my heat is finally gone. For the first time since I got here, I’m finally waking up with a clear head. Also, I don’t have the underlying desire to have Ford fill me with his seed. I’m not complaining, but I would like to actually talk with my parents and finish meeting the rest of the pack.I roll towards the nightstand near me. A small smile glides across my face. Ah, it is about 7am. I have plenty of time to get a quick shower and tell my parents to come to my room. I still don’t really trust myself, even though I feel like my heat is done. I don’t want to go to the dining hall and then have my heat begin while I’m in the middle of a room full of werewolves. I know that only my mate will be attracted to me now that I’m mated, but I also know that unmated werewolves will also be affected. I don’t want to take the risk.I quickly link to my mo
Everything slowly seems to melt away into uncoherent noises as I stare at Rose. She can read minds. Not only that, but she can also alter memories or even delete them. How could she not tell me?I know that she made a pledge with her pack to not reveal anything about her abilities and the pack, but I’m her mate. She could have still told me.I continue to stare at her, but I don’t know what to think now. This is so much to take in. Shoot, most of it is stuff that I didn’t even think was possible. Werewolves having abilities and being able to read minds.I thought that only happened in fiction stories.I’m pulled from my thoughts as a gentle, but small fragile hand pats my shoulder. I turn my head towards the Supreme Elder. However, I don’t know what to say.She smiles at me as she stands in front of me and softly chimes, “Rose is still
Even though I’m keeping my face expressionless, I mentally smile to myself as I feel Kane and Porsche’s link form with our pack. I know that it is only a matter of time before Kane becomes a part of our pack. However, I don’t know what has taken Wyatt so long to do the ceremony. I couldn’t help but to take a peek into his mind while Kane was training. I know that Kane has no intention of going back to his old pack and he loves it here. He even likes training with me.However, I have to keep my mind clear and focus on the business meeting. Wyatt won’t be happy if I mess this project up. I look across the conference table at an older gentleman along with his middle-aged son. They both seem to be calm. However, the middle-aged son has a few drops of sweat forming on his forehead, which is often a sign that something else is going on here.I clear my throat and look back down at
It has been a few days since I’ve discovered what my ability is. However, I still can’t believe that I’m a healer. Dang. I don’t even know how that works. Do I just wave my hands over the person and they are healed? Now, I understand why Wyatt said that he would wait until I start my medical degree at the university before he would tell me what my ability is. I’m sure that somewhere deep in my subconscious, I have known that I’m a healer. That also explains why I’m always trying to bandage and fix people when I was younger.I can’t wait to start my training sessions with the elders. The only thing that the Supreme Elder has instructed me is that our abilities aren’t to be taken lightly. I already know that, and I don’t think that I will soon forget. For right now, the only ability that I can use is reading people’s minds. That abili
I’m so happy to finally be able to walk around not only the pack house, but the pack lands. Don’t get me wrong. I’m extremely happy to have found my mate and to have Ford claim me, but if I had to stay in our bedroom much longer, I think I would have gone crazy. Well, that would be after Ford made love to me all night long. However, now, I can actually start to learn about my pack more. Shoot. I’m still shocked that my family is always a High Elder here. I’m still trying to figure out how the pack worked when my mother wasn’t here, but mom did say that she was in constant contact with the Supreme Elder. I’m sure that part of it was doing pack business. Even though she was part of dad’s pack, mom never really left her pack ever. She is still a High Elder. That blows my mind.I walk down the hallway towards the room where the elders will be training bot
Charles has gotten the issue with the contract resolved. However, we have been negotiating some of the finer details of the contract for the last few days. I say negotiate, but I really should say fighting. Man, talk about some stubborn people. Do they not realize that it is in their best interest to work with us?I know that Wyatt really wants this contract, but this is getting on my nerves. Not just the contract and this deal, but my ‘research’ on the werewolves that are working somewhere in the company. I have made several attempts to go around the building to try and find them, but I can never track them down. However, I keep smelling their scents.I continue to wait outside in the morning hoping to actually see them, but as soon as I smell their scent, it is gone. I don’t even know what to think. I have consulted the elders and Wyatt regarding these ‘disappearing’ werew
Another male omega. Wyatt can’t help but to wonder why are they finding them all of a sudden? Wyatt has spent his whole life thinking that he is the only one out there. Well, he actually knows that he can’t be the only one. If Wyatt exists, then there are other male omegas just like him, but he has never run across any until now.Wyatt nearly buzzes with excitment that he is finally finding them. However, he needs to talk with the elders. There has to be something bigger happening here. If there is, they will hopefully know what is happening, especially the Supreme Elder.Speaking of things happening, Wyatt hopes that Kane doesn’t realize that Wyatt is actually avoiding Kane. Kane is just too cute and adorable that if Wyatt is around Kane too much then Wyatt may not be able to control himself. Wyatt can’t force Kane to like him. Wyatt has to let it happen naturally. However
I want to thank everyone who has read my story. It means the world to me, for you follow along with me to the end. If you think this story is ending, I’m here to say that it isn’t. Throughout the book, I have put in the author’s notes that the second companion book in this series is already out, which is “My Mate Outside Sun Moon Pack”. It is also finished and has been marked complete. The second book focuses on Theo, Wyatt’s cousin and the Dean of a university, and Tyler. In addition, I will soon edit and post the third book in the Sun Moon pack series, which is “The Male Omega’s True Mate.” That book will focus on Finn and Tommy and their battles to over their horrific past in order to not only find their mates, but to also accept them. In addition, I’ll be working on the fourth book in the series. I’m not exactly sure what the title of it will be, but if you want to stay informed on it along with my other books
Kane POVI walk across my bedroom to the crib. Even though the baby is crying, and you can’t hear anything except him, I smile as I stop at the edge of the crib. Our first born and the next alpha to the Sun Moon pack. My pride and joy.I lean over the edge of the crib and softly coo, “Are you mad, Trey? You can’t be hungry. You just had your milk.”I gently pick him up from the crib and begin to sway back and forth, while cradling my son in my arms.“Hush, baby. You need to rest. You have to grow up to be big and strong.”However, Trey continues to cry.Knock. Knock.Still swaying back and forth, I glance up at the door. “Come in.”The door opens and Finn pokes his head into the bedroom. “Uhm, you can’t get him to calm down again?”I slowly shake my head.
I breathe a sigh of relief at seeing Alpha Marcus lying motionless on the ground. However, it is short-lived as I turn and scan the battlefield. My heart aches seeing all the injured and dead werewolves. This didn’t need to get to this point.A faint smile suddenly spreads across my face as my eyes stop at Sammy and Kane. Sammy is getting up off the ground and is completely healed. As she stands, she changes from her light tan wolf to Alpha Marcus’ gray wolf.Well, at least she is feeling well enough to use her abilities. That is a good sign.My mate is amazing. My smile slowly fades as my eyes spot Mike, who is staring at Kane and Sammy. What is Mike doing? He knows he can never have Kane again. Right. My thoughts are interrupted when the Supreme Elder calmly walks out of the trees, along with a few of the other elders, and scans around the open field.
Mike POVI slowly open my eyes. The bright sun instantly makes me squint and close them again.I’m alive.I thought I was dead.I’m sure that I was being ripped to pieces.I lift my arm to block the bright sun from my eyes as I slowly open them back up. Wait. I thought I was in my wolf form. My wolf!I mentally ask, “Are you still here with me?”My wolf slowly mumbles, “Yeah, but I need to rest.”Oh, that is a relief.I move to sit up, but pain instantly shoots through my entire body. I quickly look down at my body, trying to see how bad the damage is, but I don’t see any. Wait. Where are my injuries?I quickly touch my legs and turn them slightly, but nothing. There isn’t one injury there. My eyes quickly go to my stomach and my chest, as my hands randomly pat that a
I watch from the side of the clearing as Mike goes limp on the battleground. NO!!!I try to run towards him, but Ford’s wolf quickly bites my ear and stops me. Through the mindlink, he barks, “Ben, baby, follow the plan. We know that this could be a possibility if Mike came here, but we can’t stop now. We have to take down Alpha Marcus.”I glance back at Mike, but he is gone. The only wolf laying lifeless on the ground now is Caleb.I slowly nod my head.Through the mindlink, I announce, “It is time! Sammy, be careful. Everyone, get into position. Tommy and Finn, you need to make sure that you focus and only use your powers against Alpha Marcus.”I glance around the battlefield. Again, through my mindlink, I make an announcement to all the werewolves, except Alpha Marcus. “The future beta Caleb is dead, along with many others who support Alph
I bolt through the trees, over the boulders, and around the bushes. I move my feet as fast as I can. With each step, my heart pounds harder as the sound of battle hits my ears. The growls of victory along with the howls of pain stab my heart. This shouldn’t be happening, and it is all because of my father. His sick need to be the most powerful and have everyone bow down to him is too much. It must stop.No wonder my mother isn’t anywhere to be found. I’m sure that she couldn’t handle him either. With that thought running through my mind, I jump into the clearing. The sight that meets me is not something that I have ever wanted to see. Werewolves are everywhere and fighting to the death. The stench of blood and death is in the air.Nearby, several wolves are torn apart laying lifeless in a pool of their own blood on the ground while several other dead werewolves are sc
Wyatt POVKane and I stand on either side of the wounded beta. We take our hands off the beta as he opens his eyes. After shifting back to his human form as we heal him, he looks between my mate and me, before he asks, “What happened? I thought I was going to die.”I shake my head. “Not today. We won’t let that happen.”A faint smile dances across Kane’s face. “We brought you back, and we will heal others too as the battle continues.”Before the beta can ask anymore, I say, “Since you are back, we will go onto the next one.”Kane and I stand up and look around the battlefield, while the beta glances between my mate and me. However, we don’t get any rest, as Zee and Scott bring another severely injured warrior from one of our packs. The beta continues to sit and watch us as Kane and I take the injured black and br
I burst into the clearing. The growls and howls of battle have been ringing through the forest, but I’m still surprised when I come into the clearing. Not only is Alpha Marcus’ pack here, but all of his allies, along with all of our allies. The clearing is full of werewolves. All of them are fighting with everything that they have. Our first wave of warriors appears from the forest at the same time that Kane, Ford, Ben and I arrive. The plan is to have Kane and Ben stay along the sidelines to use their abilities to locate people and heal them if needed. The key person who we are trying to locate is Alpha Marcus.I glance around the field. I see a lot of blood and the smell of death is in the air, while fangs and claws continue to fly everywhere, but I’m not seeing Alpha Marcus yet. Before I can ask, Ben states via the mindlink, “Alpha Marcus isn’t here yet. He is on t
Mason POVWyatt has given the signal that things will happen fast now. Alpha Marcus has people trying to find out who is meddling with his allies’ companies. It is only a matter of time now. However, we still will not bring the physical fight to our pack lands. That doesn’t mean that our allies won’t see the war coming to them though. When Alpha Marcus realizes our pack is behind everything, our allies won’t be safe either.Luckily, we have come up with a plan for that. Don’s old pack is more than willing to have the physical fight on their pack lands, which is actually the best location. His former pack’s lands are at the edge of Alpha Marcus’ alliance pack lands. On the other hand, our alliance packs are located practically in a semi-circle around Don’s old pack, which is why it makes perfect sense to have the physical fight there.
