Sofia:

Landing up in Rome wasn't an easy thing, especially when your dad's minions are everywhere around the international airports.

My dad is a really an overprotective father, he tried to dig every single pithole where there was a possibility to find me.

A deep sigh escapes my mouth.

The atmosphere of Rome isn't familiar.

so to clear my expenses I had to work.

The people here are not  bad, they are not friendly either, they don't exchange greetings until you know them well.

Initially it was hard to adjust, but now I'm kinda adapted with the atmosphere and ambience.

I work in a simple cafe, where mostly teenagers are there.

" Nico!!!!??? " I looked at him, and this time, his face isn't covered, it's all revealed, making his features attractively beautiful.

" May be you met the wrong guy!! " God, this is the same guy.

How can I forget that deep pitched masculine voice, that can send chills to the spine?

" No" I stated.

He stared at me, like examining me then extended his hand.

" Sofia??? " he asked.

I nodded and immediately took his hand to return the polite gesture.

"Coffee??? " I asked almost immediately.

I'm gonna return the favor he did to me, he practically saved me from those shitheads.

He nodded, and I led him to the same cafe, I work in.

"Sofia, your shift is over, you don't have to... " My friend Carmilla told me, when her eyes landed up on Nico.

She gestured me to come to her, through her actions.

" excuse me!! " I said to Nico and headed towards my friend.

" Ok... let me collect myself all, is he your date?? God, he is hot..!! " she said out of the blue.

I let out a chuckle and told her Nico is just a friend of mine, I'm just returning the favor he did to me.

"whatever Sofia. don't let him slip... he is man... he is hot!! " she said with an exaggerated response.

I didn't know what to say, I just went to the table where Nico was seated, and ordered Mocha for me.

" A latte will do!! " he said.

" You work here?? " his sudden question made me flinch.

" how do you know? " I asked.

he gave a toothy grin.

" guess, I'm a good observer, that lady seems to be your friend ?"

I gave an awkward laugh and nodded

" so you are Italian?? "

he nodded, why doesn't he speak much.

"well I never thanked you before!! but I'm doing it now, that day, I was really in a rush, so... thank you for saving me"

" That's ok!! " he says.

Why is he so dry?.

And suddenly he gets a call, he nods and hums in reply, all in stern face, his jaw clenches and relaxes and he looks tempting while doing so.

" looks like I need to go, bambina!!, see you around "

he didn't even finish his latte completely, and stood up from his place.

Giving me a simple smile, he headed to the other direction and vanished in seconds.

He is weird.

I thought to myself and took the cups to deposit in the kitchen.

When I went to cashier to pay, he informed me, the order has already been paid.
