Chapter 49: It's Not Fair

"Valerie!!" Emma suddenly appeared somewhere behind them and Valerie turned back to see her.

Joy clouded her heart to see her sister was still alive, she wanted to move closer but one of the shooters beat her to it. He suddenly appeared in front of Emma, pointing his gun at her.

"No!!!!!" Valerie screamed with all her might and began running towards the scene but it was too late, the gun was already fired.

Emma's eyes widened on seeing the bullet come to her in slow motion. She could already see herself dieing, death flashed before her eyes and she couldn't do anything about it.

Why did she come back in?

After waiting for seconds nothing happened to her. She opened her eyes to see that guy in red hair standing in front of her.

Tyler was quick enough to shield her, collecting the bullet with his left arm. He used his right hand to pull his own trigger at the shooter and he went out.
