Chapter 16. Heartbreak

"Yeah, let's go," Leonardo said, his voice filled with a sense of readiness.

He wiped his mouth with a cloth napkin, rising from the breakfast table with purpose. Sofia followed suit, stepping out of the room alongside him, her gaze scanning their surroundings.

To her surprise, Mark stood by the door, waiting patiently.
