2. The Mysterious Lady(1)

There was a yellow crime scene barricade around a red Lamborghini whose glass was shattered and bullet holes all around. Cops flooded around in their number and the medical team moved the covered bodies into a waiting ambulance.

At the roof of the building opposite the crime scene was Luca Antonio watching with tears in his eyes, his face showed nothing but pure rage and he tightened his fist and grit his teeth too.

The wind blew his full hair behind and that was when Danny Antonio approached him from behind.

Danny was the consigliere of the mafia family and was dedicated to the part he played in the family.

The Antonio mafia family was a secret empire in Italy that manufactured the finest nose candy (c0caine) and distributed it to major dealers in that region.

They went by the name 'The Finest White' because the 'Antonio family' title was only used for a legal business the family took as a side job to launder incomes with no suspicion.

The normal people knew the Antonio family for the production of rubber in one of the biggest factories in Naples city of Italy but fellow manufacturers of drugs and dealers in the chain knew about the laboratory underground the factory where the 'nose candy' was produced.

'The Finest White' were not just manufacturers but a gang that harmed their competitors to mark their territories and own the nose candy market, and for this, they were feared all over Italy.

The government had tried several times to track and stop this famous group but to no avail, and after a while, they gave up.

The Antonio mafia family consist of the head, Lorenzo Antonio, who was the boss and his wife, Nico Antonio occasionally took over.

The underboss, Luca Antonio, is trained and groomed to take over the family business and is responsible for leading the soldiers to fights.

Danny Antonio, the brother and consigliere of the boss, Lorenzo.

He barely left the family mansion and is always around the boss. Only on a few occasions is he sent to get business done.

The other important members are Enzo, and Marco, the younger brothers of Luca who are getting groomed into the family business and other relatives who are soldiers in the family gang.

Although she denounced her family business to take a different path, Lucia Antonio would always remain the only daughter of Lorenzo.

Everything played well for the Antonio family until the assassination of Nico Antonio, the boss' wife. They believed it was a message from a rival gang but had no idea who would dare murder her.

After much investigation, no perpetrator was traced and so Lorenzo retreated his army because his activity in other territories could start a mafia war.

Luca Antonio was not ready to give up. He swore on her grave to make the killers of his mother pay.

Luca thought they needed him to identify mafia groups and bring them down but the mayor's government itself was corrupt.

The mayor of Thornhill was a major facilitator in the transport of drugs in and out of the country and often got into trouble which needed to be taken care of.

One of the main troubles was the mob families in North America who believe the market was been seized from them.

For months now, Luca Antonio had worked for him and got paid exclusively.

In no time, he grew to become one of the biggest billionaires in North America and the people believed his source of income was his luxurious Ocean View Hotel but there was more to it.

Luca received millions and occasionally billions to secretly deal with mob families that caused trouble for the mayor.

The latest was The D'Angelo family who had advertised their new product at a popular nightclub at Thornhill thereby killing the business of the mayor's empire for the week.

As a warning, Luca was to send a threatening message to the family through Kenneth who recognized him and he had no option but to silence.

The D'Angelo family and others who have a further plan to trespass territories would be scared to make a move anymore.

Luca was an anonymous weapon that the mob families could not trace and he's casually known as 'The Black Viper' because of his work outfit which was always black and 'Viper' depicts his stealth mode of carrying out activity but not always.

Luca could go gun blazing into a room filled with armed men without thinking twice.

Every trace to find the killers of his mother always came to a dead end but today, tonight something has come up.

A mysterious beauty goddess had ended up in his pool with his mother's favourite necklace around her neck.

Nico Antonio had the blood diamond necklace around her neck before leaving the family mansion on the day of the attack but wasn't found on her in the mortuary.

It was a detail he ignored years ago thinking she had lost it in the shooting.

The blood diamond necklace had a marking 'WW' imprinted by Nico herself and everyone in the family knew about this.

What if the shooters had taken some of her things and this necklace was one?

Luca squatted low to see the pale blue face of the unconscious unclad lady and sighed.

He never believed in the existence of goddesses but this was living proof. Whoever she was.

Getting to his feet, he thought about calling the cops to mark her as a missing person but that would be foolishness. She was a discovery to find out who had murdered his beloved mother.

Luca went low and carried her body out of the frozen pool. On contact with her skin, he could feel the heat emitting and almost got his hand burnt in the process.

He groaned letting go of her body on the concrete.

She was supposed to be cold, not hot like a--

The lady's flaming hair stopped burning and he was tempted to touch her red long hair which lay down. He wasn't even thinking why a person's hair would emit flames and not get fried away.

Luca tried to control his eyes which couldn't get off her naked body, especially her firm b00bs which pointed to his face.

He exhaled heavily and removed his night robe which he wrapped around her flawless body and then carried her in his broad arms.

She was yet to be awake and he feared that she was dead.

Luca took her into the elevator which carried them to the roof of the glass villa and he helped her seat on his torture chair.

He occasionally brought some targets here for torture so they are coerced to spill the truth about certain things.

This mysterious beauty goddess could be the actual one who murdered Nico and he wasn't ready to take chances. She must be a smooth assassin to have carried out the job perfectly and escaped with no trace.

He placed his ear to her chest and listened closely to her heartbeat to be sure that she was still alive.

Her heartbeat appeared to be dying slowly every second and--

Luca quickly pulled her to the ground and pressed against her chest strongly and continuously.

Suddenly, she gagged loudly with her eyes widely opened and vomited blood from her mouth to the ground.

He gaped heavily and their eyes met. Her icy blue eyes were extremely charming making his mind crazy and--

Unannounced, she kicked him strongly and he crashed against the torture chair.

Luca groaned and turned to see her get to her feet and look around, and then at her hands.

She appeared to be confused but then a smile escaped her lips.

At this point, Luca hurried to his feet and tightened his fist.

He asked angrily, "Who are you? Why did you kill my mother?"

The mysterious lady was his prime suspect and if she wasn't ready to speak he would have to force it out of her throat, regardless of her gender.

She stared blankly at him and groaned loudly leaving him more confused.

Luca was furious," I guess I have to take it from you"

He raged towards her and she took to her heels running as fast as she could.

The red-haired lady was approaching the edge of the roof and wasn't stopping yet and that alarmed Luca who screamed, "Hey, stop there"

She did not listen and fell straightway off the roof.

'Bam!' There was a loud thud.

He gasped heavily.

Why did she do that? Now she was dead and he would not be able to question her again.

Luca looked down and was shocked to see the lady getting to her feet like nothing had happened.

He watched her raise her head to him and as soon as their eyes met, she staggered away quickly.

How on earth could she have survived a fall from such height?
