Chapter 139 - We're A Family

“Wow, it smells so good, Mom. I'm hungry!”

Rayden exclaimed cheerfully as he caught the aroma of ground beef, Italian sauce, and vegan ricotta fresh out of the oven.

He rushed away from playing with his father to join his mother, who was setting the freshly baked lasagna on the dining table.

Just as Rayden was about to poke the sauce with his finger, Amora gently tapped his hand. “Go wash your hands first, Sweetie,” she reminded him.

Rayden smiled brightly and hurried to the kitchen sink.

As Amora placed the utensils on the table, she noticed Regis also reaching for the sauce on the lasagna.

However, he quickly withdrew his hand when Amora shot him a look, then followed Rayden to wash his hands first.

Not long after, the three of them were seated around the spacious rectangular dining table.

Amora felt a bit out of place. It had been so long since she’d eaten in such a fancy room.
