The woman who easily and skilfully killed those four men quickly fled from the scene after telling the two woman who hide it was clear to come out. Alice and Ashely emerged from their hiding spot. Ashely was shaking from witnessing such a sight, while Alice was shocked that, that woman could kill four big guys so easily without needing a gun.
“Ma’am did you see what I saw?” Ashley said as her body shock violently.
“I did but please don’t worry my brother will be here in no time.” Alice said, trying to calm down. They both walked closer to the scene and there was blood splatter everywhere. Alice did not know if she could clean up this blood or not before the police showed up. She did not know what she would tell them so all she could hope for is for Gio to get here first before the police.
“What do we do? Do we clean up here or wait for the police? What if we get framed for this?” Ashley said and stuttered at the same time.
“Get a hold of yourself damn
ONE DAY BEFORESofia stormed out of Master Carlos’s room upset that she got dragged into all of this drama. Bianca looked shaken for an assassin and Alexia for the first time actually felt guilty after hearing what the punishment is. She jogged after Sofia to offer an apology she swore would not come from her mouth, but she was afraid that if she did not do so her position on the team would be compromised.“Captain…” Alexia said as her hand touched Sofia’s shoulder to stop her from walking.“Get your hands off me Alexia.” Sofia said as she turned to look at Alexia. Bianca rolled her eyes at them and continued down the hallway without throwing a comment for the first time.“Please accept my apology.” Alexia said as she attempted to kneel.“Don’t bother Alexia. You do not need to show me respect when the mess has already happened. Sometimes I wonder if you really deserve my respect. I
PRESENT DAYTinx23 JULX 3050Sofia and the squad were back at their base after cutting their shopping trip short. She taught to herself that she was mad for having considered to go out after the punishment she received yesterday. Bianca and Alexia could hardly move properly but here she was parading about.Sofia was in pain alright, but she kept the pain hidden so not to satisfy Madam Lee. She hated that woman and that woman hated her just as much. She walked quickly so that nobody could stop and talk to her because she was not in the mood for socialising with anyone. Unfortunately, Sofia was not in luck because she came face to face with Master Carlos, who looked like a hurt puppy. She wanted to ignore him, but she knew she could not because he was her superior.Sofia stared at him and proceeded to bow her head in respect and greeted him civilly.“Good day, Master Carlos.” Sofia said with no hint of emotion in her tone.
The following day Alice was couped up under her duvet because she refused to leave her bed unless absolutely necessary. She had bathed of course and had her meals on time, but she refused to see anyone otherwise. Alice was beginning to regret ever asking to join into her brother’s Mafia once upon a time. She still wanted to learn how to fight in order to defend herself, but she didn’t think that she had in her to kill someone the way that woman had done yesterday. A knock came from sounded from the door and she sighed because she knew that it was finally time to go back to the real world before her brother dragged her out by force. Alice got off her bed and strolled to the door and opened to see Luca standing there. She didn’t know whether to hide or run from him. Her appearance wasn’t too shabby, but she was wearing a cute little, shorts and a vest pyjama that had designs of panda’s on it. It was awkward for a few seconds until Luca cleared his throat and Alic
Sofia was still frowning when Master Carlos and Madam Lee walked into the training discussing amongst themselves. She was chewing at the right corner of her bottom lip because her mind was far away. Unfortunately, she was not the only one who seemed distracted, Alexia seemed to be lost in her own thoughts as well. “The atmosphere right now could make anyone cry.” Mica said after a long time of remaining quiet. “Why do you say that?” Ronda asked as she looked at him with her brow raised. “Everyone seems to be in their own zone. It never used to be this way.” Mica said and frowned. “Blame that on Alexia and wanting to prove a point.” Becca said bitterly. Alexia snapped out of her thoughts and angrily looked at Becca, “I thought I told you to not involve me in your bullshit.” “It is the truth though, everyone and everything seems cold after the stunt you pulled that so happened to drag captain into it as well.” Ronda added truthfully.
Giovanni sat in his office already regretting his decision to let Alice train in combat with Luca. His mind was occupied with many things before the incident, and he never thought that it would cloud his mind even further. Giovanni sat wondering who the woman that saved his sister could have been. All the thinking was hurting his head, but he couldn’t help but think. He was so deep in thought that he didn’t notice Antonio walk into his office.“What’s up bro?” Antonio asked as he continued to munch on barbeque flavoured chips. Giovanni raised his head as he heard his brother and looked extremely annoyed at him.“Why are you eating those in here? You do know I hate that smell.” Giovanni said.“That’s the more reason to eat this.” Antonio said and munched on another chip which he chewed loudly.“If only you were not my brother.” Giovanni said and simply smiled at his brother.
Alex was now facing Sofia confused by her words earlier on. She hadn’t said anything since they came inside, and he was unsure whether to speak first or wait for her to collect herself.“Why do you look so uncomfortable?” Sofia asked.“Did you forget how you spoke to me outside?” Alex said with accusation in his tone.“I am your captain, so I need to behave a certain way in front of others. Plus, you were being disrespectful by calling me by my name.” Sofia said reasonably.“Okay, I will reframe from that in the future.” Alex added coolly.“Good.” Sofia said and took a deep breath.“So, why did you drag me here and why did you say you find this mission dodgy?” Alex asked, jumping straight into the matter.“Madam Lee was too excited for this. After what we went through six years ago, I believed they would put the entire assassin academy on this mission
It has been a week ever since Alexia learned that Sofia was her sister, since then she has been dealing with so many mixed feelings. Sometimes she wants to embrace the idea of having a sister, but her mind keeps telling her otherwise. Alexia admitted to herself that killing Sofia was the only way she could live in peace and come out from the shadows.Even now she stared intensely at Sofia as she was leading the meeting on their Mafia assignment. Her so called sister carried her confidence on her face and it seemed that she was particularly confident about this job. The entire team worked day and night to insure that they did not repeat the mistakes of six years ago.“Alexia, are you in the meeting?” Sofia asked her with her eyebrow raised in question.Alexia coughed awkwardly because she might have been caught staring, “I am in the meeting I just trailed off for a bit.” She answered.“It looked like you were glaring at the ca
Sofia asked for permission to leave the academy and it was granted. She was now on her way out of the academy and made sure to look over her shoulder during every step. Sofia did not like to drive when she was alone so she would always walk, take a cab, or take the train. She was moving fast through the streets with her hoodie over her head. She could feel Alex trailing behind her and as much as it annoyed her, she actually felt good that he was following her.She ducked into an alley and stood there waiting for Alex to appear so she could confront him. Alex entered the same alley carelessly and he stopped in his tracks as he saw Sofia leaning on the wall, staring at him.“Am I caught?” Alex asked as he raised his hand to scratch behind his neck.“Is it not obvious?” Sofia answered with her eyebrow raised.“Did you know I was following you? I have never been caught in the spy act before.” Alex said proudly.
Sofia awoke to the faint light of dawn creeping through the small window in her room, her body still aching but no longer burning with the searing pain from the capsule. The remnants of the drug lingered in her veins, leaving her weak, but she felt stronger than the night before. The haze that had clouded her mind had lifted, replaced by a sharp awareness of her surroundings. She shifted slightly in bed, her movements slow and deliberate. Her muscles protested with every effort, but she managed to sit up. As her eyes adjusted to the dim light, she noticed Alex sitting at the foot of her bed, slumped in a chair, his head resting against the wall. He must have stayed the entire night, she thought, her gaze softening for a brief moment. The exhaustion on his face was clear, even in his sleep. She didn’t want to wake him, but there were matters to attend to. They had lost precious time, and now they needed to prepare. Don Russo wasn’t going to wait for them to recover. With a quiet sigh,
Alex kept his arm firmly around Sofia's waist as they made their way through the maze of corridors, his grip steady despite the turmoil swirling inside him. Sofia's breathing had become shallow, each step a clear strain as the effects of the capsule took full hold. She was trembling slightly, her body fighting against the drug that was sapping her strength.Sofia hated this. Every inch of her body ached with the betrayal of her own muscles, the burning sensation spreading like wildfire through her veins. She tried to focus on walking, to maintain some semblance of control, but each step felt heavier than the last. Her vision blurred, and she stumbled, her weight shifting precariously into Alex's arms."Easy," Alex murmured, tightening his grip to steady her. His voice was soft, but there was a tension there—worry he couldn’t hide."Don't... don't treat me like I'm helpless," Sofia muttered, her voice weaker than she intended. She didn’t want him, or anyone for that matter, to see her l
The tension in the room was suffocating as Sofia struggled to maintain her composure. Her body was weakening quickly, but her mind was still sharp enough to catch the subtle glances and whispers among the assassins in the hall. She could feel the weight of their distrust bearing down on her. They were looking for a flaw, a crack in her defences that would confirm their suspicions.Alex stood close by, his arms crossed as he kept his eyes locked on Alexis. The venom in her gaze hadn’t lessened, and it was clear she wasn’t convinced that Sofia’s return was as simple as it appeared. The tension between them was palpable, an unspoken challenge hanging in the air, waiting for someone to make the first move.Master Carlos, sensing the brewing conflict, stood from his seat and walked toward Sofia. His expression was calm, but his eyes carried the weight of years spent leading assassins—he had seen betrayals, mistakes, and death far too often. He stopped just a few feet in front of her, his ga
It was time for Alex and Sofia to depart and they were still not talking. Arthoro did not know how they would pull this off if they were still not talking to each other. He was standing outside to see them off because it felt like it would be the last time, he saw them.“Why are you seeing as off Arthoro?” Sofia asked with a frown on her face.“Is that bad? It can’t be as bad as you two not getting along” Arthoro replied with a bright smile.“Stop that.” Sofia frowned more while Alex just whined at the driver’s seat.“What are you talking about?” Arthoro said, playing dumb“Why are you smiling like that?” Sofia asked.“Time is very precious, so can we be on the road already? We don’t want someone spotting you here.” Alex finally spoke up. Arthoro kept his mouth shut and his lips formed a straight line.“Until we meet again.” Sofia muttered as she entered the car and Alex drove away. Alex’s car windows were tinted so nobody could see them as they drove through the streets.“How long?” S
“What kind of allies are we talking?” Alexis asked as she finally sat down. “The kind that would back you back even if you have no hope left for the future.” Madam Lee said with another smirk. “Can you stop speaking in riddles and just tell me what you want already!” Alexis was upset and this conversation was nit helping her current state at all. “Why do you act like you are stupid Alexis? We will have a gathering with potential people soon because as far as I am concerned. You will not win this trial against Alex.” Madam Lee leaned back on her chair. “Why not?” Alexis asked, feeling a little offended. “Why do you think he was so bold to speak up today?” “Isn’t he always this bold?” Madam Lee sighed as she rose from the chair. “Do you really believe that is the only reason for his actions? Why are you behaving like you have no common sense at all?” Madam Lee added as she moved around the office. “I think it would be easier if you just told me what the problem really is instead o
“Exactly what I mean Madam Lee. Sometimes Alexis doesn’t think with her head, so how can she lead a team of assassin’s with just a trait.” Alex said truthfully not just because this was Sofia’s plan, but he genuinely thought that she still had a long way before she could lead anyone. “Alex, you have never liked my presence in the team, and you are taking this opportunity to slander me.” Alexis said angrily. “I have to agree with Alex there, he is more of a right-hand man than you are to your captain Alexis.” Bianca said and everyone moved their head’s around to see where she was speaking from. “Thank you, Bianca.” Alex said and sat down. “From everyone’s observation of Alex, do you agree with his opinion?” Master Carlos asked the audience. “I have to agree with Alex too because we all saw that he was the best candidate for vice-captain but unfortunately Alexis stole that position.” Max the captain from the War Squad said confidently.
Alex had finished his conversation with Sofia and had even watched her eat before leaving her in the car of Arthoro. He disliked the idea but right now only he could help her until she started feeling much better. As soon as he got far away from Sofia’s home and made sure no one would piece anything together, he turned back his tracker. Alex was speeding through the streets and transports until he finally reached the academy again. He scanned his hand so the door could open.“Access granted, welcome home Alex.” The computer-generated voice said before the door opened for him and he walked in. He was a little late for Alexis interrogation trial, but he knew that they would start with him. He wasn’t wrong there because it seemed like they, themselves were running late when he walked through the door of the trial room. His squad members seemed relieved to see him walk through the room because they had been calling him but because he d
Giovanni was still very upset and the air around them was still very tense. Bernie felt like he was going to suffocate because Ava and Giovanni were glaring daggers at each other. To clear the air he coughed before speaking, “I will have to apologise on behalf of my partner, she is a little tense today.” Bernie said with a forced smile.“At least your partner has manners. Now, let us get right down to the reason you are actually here for. What do you want from me?” Giovanni said as he waited for one of the detectives to speak. Ava looked like she wanted to talk but Bernie decided he was going to beat her too it or else they wouldn’t get anywhere today.“Mr Russo, we want to ask you a few questions about what happened at the gala.” Bernie asked as he pulled out his small note pad.“Nothing special really.” Giovanni said and smirked purposefully as he directed it at Ava. “Answer
Alex had already arrived at Sofia’s place, and he was sitting on the couch, watching her sleep soundly. For as long as he has known her she hardly slept so peaceful, so he decided to take this opportunity to admire her peaceful face. Alex was beyond relieved when Arthoro called last night to tell him that she was okay. Even though Sofia has rejected his affection for her countless of times, he still values her life more than anything. He knew for a fact that if she had not been found, he was going to make Alexis pay because she was the one who caused the mess in the first place. Sofia wined and groaned while her eyes were still closed, and Alex quickly stood up so he could see if she was in any kind of pain. He rushed onto the bed, trying his very best not to wake her but he failed miserably because she suddenly jolted from the bed, hand aiming at his throat, but he managed to stop her just in time. “I was so wrong about you sleeping peacefully. You almost ki
