Brittany brought Julia to a room, it was huge and aesthetically pleasing in comparison to the house she and her mother lived in. She felt as if it had been deliberately designed for her, but that thought alone was horrifying.

A minute later, someone knocked on the door and peered inside. It was Marcello. He signaled to Brittany who walked out with him.

A few seconds later, she returned to the room and approached where Julia was standing.

“You're quite lucky on your first day,” She started then threw her hands round the room, “This would be your room.”

Julia shot her a look, “Why am I lucky?”

The brunette looked at Julia, then laughed softly, “If you want to survive here like the other bitches, you need to tone your character down. All these shits you're displaying won't get you anywhere,” She paused, then added, “Don Rossini is the boss here and he gets whatever he wants, the earlier you learn that, the better it would be for you.”

Julia said nothing. She knew Brittany was right, judging from what she had seen, he could end her life if she acted drastically.

“You still haven't answered my question.” She blurted out.

Brittany, who was about to leave, turned and scoffed.

“Something important came up, so the Boss wouldn't be needing you for now.”

Julia heaved a sigh of relief.

“That doesn't mean he wouldn't still fuck you.” She smirked and walked out.

“What are you doing here?” Don fired as he sat down and lit a cigar.

Martin, his supposed stepbrother was still the same, all smiley. This annoys Don a lot.

“Shouldn't you at least start with a greeting, Donatello?” Martin asked with a smile.

Don rolled his eyes. He hates when he calls his full name but he chose to ignore it this time.

“You know it has really been long since I traveled to the States, so I decided to fly back and surprise you.” Martin said as he took a stroll round the office.

Puffing out the smoke from his mouth, Don said, “Your surprise was pathetic and you are not welcome here.”

His step-brother let out a laugh as he took his place on the couch.

“I know you hate to see my face after our father's death but we have a problem at hand and I have come to forge an alliance with you.”

Don puffed out another smoke from his mouth, “Forge alliance against who? Do you think I would help you with whatever mischief you're up to?” He asked coldly.

Martin sat up straight, “I have known you to be the cold-hearted brother–”

“–step-brother.” Don corrected, nonchalantly.

“Yeah, right, step-brother,” he continued, “I came here with zero confidence that you would want to help but this threatens the whole Rossini's business you have tried to stabilize for years, so I came to you having no other choice.”

A threat to the Rossini's business? Don took a pause to his smoke before turning to face Martin. He stared at him for a while trying to detect a hint of lie but none was forthcoming. He knew Martin was well aware of his desire for power and had expected him to manipulate him into giving up his position as usual, but this time was different; their conversation had taken a whole new turn. His step-brother was here to form an alliance with him; a proposal that was unexpected.

“Who dares to pose a threat to the Rossini's business?” Don asked as he dropped the cigar into the ashtray.

"The Morano's," Martin said with a glimmer of optimism.

The Morano family rang a bell in Don's head. He had heard that name before. The former high ranking mafia group before the death of the leader and his son.

“After the death of his father and older brother, Marco, the youngest son has taken over and he is coming directly at us.”

“Is your information legit? Last time I checked, the business had died down and Marco had travelled out to further his college education.”

Martin let out a laugh, “Well, I can see you are unaware of the fact that his travel out of the country was to regroup and strengthen his forces,” he paused then continued, “he now stands as the new leader of the latest mafia group rising up in the US. If you still care to know of my sources, I would like to tell you that my spies are very efficient in their jobs.”

Don sank into his chair. If Marco has started their family business anew, then it would definitely pose a threat to them since it would be more personal than business related.

“We need to be prepared. It would be more of a revenge against us for the death of his father and brother.” Martin said, reading his stepbrother's mind.

Donatello hates to hear the word “we”, he loves to accomplish things on his own, but this time around, he knew something had to be done.

The ruthless boss kept quiet, taking another cigar from the packet, he lit it and inhaled deeply.

Moreno wasn't the problem but the audacity he has displayed by threatening him and his family business was what pissed him off.

When Martin was gone, Marcello entered at his boss' call.

“Get me the new girl!” He ordered.

***

Julia was seated in the room still trying to figure out her new life when Marcello barged in. She shot him an angry look but he ignored it.

“The boss needs you now,” he smiled when he noticed the pair of lingerie laid out on the bed, “You should actually dress in a sexy way if you want to make him feel better.”

Julia looked at the pair of lingerie behind her and rolled her eyes. She had figured she would still end up wearing it sooner or later.

While she dressed up, Marcello waited for her outside the room, soon she was done putting on some neat clothes and followed him.

***

Julia met Donatello in his study room, he looked engrossed in his thoughts to notice her presence and Marcello's exit from the room.

Suddenly, he looked up, taking Julia aback, and smiled. He noticed she looked more beautiful with her blonde hair cascading over her face; a feature he hadn't taken note of before.

“I need you to please me.”He said as he stood up and walked towards her in a few strides.

Julia rolled her eyes secretly. She was already aware of why he called her.

“You know I like it when your hair falls to your face,” He smiled again, “it gives me the opportunity to uncover your face with my bare hand.” He added while pushing the hair behind her ear. Her body tingled as he touched her; it seemed as though he was aware of her sensitivities and knew how to arouse them.

Abruptly, he caught her by the waist and drew her toward him. Julia flinched. She could feel the heat emitting between them from his hardened chest as her hand lay on him. He placed his head against her neck, tracing kisses while he worked on her skirt, slowly unzipping it and letting it fall to the ground.

A knot tied in her stomach, she was not ready for this.

In a second, her shirt was gone. Don paused to stare at her, his lips salivating, “The lingerie looks nice on you,” He commented.

Julia remained silent. She knew talking back would not prove anything plus she was already under his influence.

Before she could think, he grasped her ass and started to adore her body with little kisses. When his lips finally touched hers, the fire intensified; his tongue gently connected with hers as he fondled her breasts, leading her to a state of complete captivity.

Julia's world came to a halt when his hand crept into her underwear, his fingers settling into the wet wall of her vagina. All the while, his lips suckled on her nipples as he stroked her clitoris in a delicate manner. He dipped one finger into her, then two into her tight pussy, thrusting it with care while ignoring the curses and the nails digging into his flesh.

“Fuck!” She finally said, still holding onto him.

Don smirked. He was enjoying every bit of it and was not planning to stop anytime soon. He pulled out his fingers, gave her pussy a smack before thrusting it in again and increasing the strokes, not minding her pleas.

The young girl was in a daze as she squirted all over his hand. She had forgotten all that had happened before as she clutched him firmly, her claws burrowing into his body. He made her feel better than anybody she had ever been with, and his strokes transported her to a whole other universe, one she hoped she would remain in for a while.

For Julia, her world stood still; she was no longer in control. She could hear herself moaning faintly as she was drawn into the antiques of his hands.

The first person she laid her eyes on made her pause. Then she turned and was about to return when she heard the voice.“Giulia.” Sabrina called out in a soft and low voice.Julia rolled her eyes; how dare she address her by her real name?“What do you want?” Julia questioned. After all the things Sabrina had done, Julia could not believe she could still approach her. Had she not been the one who warned her to stay away from Donatello? Julia was finally back at the Rossini's mansion. It was unbelievable to her and the entire household, particularly Mrs. Lorenzo, who kept casting glances at her. This time, she was not a servant, but rather someone important to the boss. His girlfriend. It had been made official, having been agreed upon by both parties.Donatello could not believe he had finally been tied down by a lady. It had been the last thing he had ever wanted, but here he was holding her by the waist as she strutted into the large living room. When Julia stepped into the centre of the vast area, she could feel past memories returning back to her. And now she reasoned it, she realized that she had not really been treated badly. Even though her stay was filled with animosity toward the boss, she was able to create tangible memories.“Here, let me assist you, ma'am.” Paloma spoke as she collected Julia's handbag.“There is no need for these formalities.” Julia reminded her, “We are still friends, remember?”“You d

The next location Julia arrived at after leaving her house was the Rossini's mansion. The same place she had vowed never to enter. But somehow, she found herself there. When she was ushered in by one of the guards, the first person that came out to greet her was no one else than her long time friend, Paloma.Paloma was dumbfounded when she saw her. She had not expected to see her again after the way she had left.“Hi, Paloma,” Julia said when she saw her.“Is this a dream?” Paloma blurted out. “I–mean–even if it was one, then I don't want to wake up.”Julia suddenly gave a light laugh. Her friend remained the same, with the exception of the few pounds she had gained.“It is actually not a dream.” Julia told her before embracing her.“It has been so long. I did not think you would ever return.” She then paused before adding, “what are you even doing here?”The question struck Julia and that was when she recalled her mission.“I need to speak with Donatello. Is he in?”“Donatello? You

The next few weeks were filled with work for Julia. She was beginning her life anew with no danger lurking around like before.Marco, and most of his men had been dealt with including some of Martin's men. Marco was said to have been killed on the spot, but nothing else was heard about him.Marcello on his own part, was gradually rehabilitating at the hospital. He had been kept there after recovery as per his Donatello’s order.Martin was diagnosed with infective endocarditis, an infection of the heart valves and that was the reason behind the bloody coughs and tightened chest feeling. He had always thought that he would get better if he took his pills which he always takes, but what he did not know was that Marco had conspired with the doctor to change the pills. The latter had confessed this to him before his death, making it even more unbelievable to Martin.“His lack of proper treatment has led to heart damage and we can only perform surgery and wait for him to recuperate.” the do

Donatello could not see a thing. His vision had been obscured by the rising dust caused by the duel. However, despite this, he did not panic. His instincts were extremely acute, and he could detect even the slightest sound. When Marco took a step closer to him, he noticed it. His grip on his pistol tightened; every move was calculated and observed.Marco paused just a few inches in front of him and smirked. He knew where Don stood and was certain that the fight was due to end soon.“You look so hopeless, Donatello. Why don't you just give up?” Marco mocked.Donatello rolled his eyes aggressively but did not say anything. Only if Marco understood how badly he wanted this to end. When he did not utter a word, Marco continued, “You are all alone, just like me. No family to call your own. Not even Martin is capable of filling that gap.”“I am nothing compared to you. And for the meantime keep Martin's name out of your lips.” Don warned. On hearing this, Marco let out a light laugh.“Are y

Julia was terrified as she stood alongside Donatello. The latter, on the other hand, gripped her hand tightly and caressed it gently to calm her down. When Julia tried to steal a glance at him, she noticed his calm demeanor. He appeared unconcerned, as if he were planning his escape.Marcello was soon to arrive with the men which was enough to buy him some time. “You have enough guts to apprehend one of my men.” Marco started.Donatello abruptly raised his gaze to his rival and smirked. It had been months but the man had not changed a bit. He was still the same childhood friend he had known him to be, except that he was not worthy of being called a “friend”.“You also have the guts to capture what is mine.” Donatello shot back despite his tied hands. He had allowed them to take advantage of him. But only for a short time; he wanted his rival to believe he had won.“Do you think I had given up when I ran away?” the man paused, then scoffed, “You must have thought that since the gover
