65. The Birthday Party(1)

Sofia's POV

I groaned out of my sleep and rolled over the bed to get the music off my head but it only got louder.

Yawning loudly, I stumbled out of the foam and found my way to the open window where I leaned.

From that position, the beats of the song hit the depths of my ears strongly and I was able to view the party taking place at the pool area.

Disco lights flashed all over the arena, reflecting the faces of everyone around including the swimming pool where women in bikinis roamed.

Is this what a birthday celebration looks like? Fun.

This is my first time.

I was supposed to be down there right now but after helping Mia in fixing the disco lights, my body grew weak and the women around urged me to take a little sleep.

A little sleep and so much had gone already.

I looked up at the darkness of the night and a smile curved at the corner of my lips as it brought back an almost forgotten memory.

Mr. Pompous had pushed me off a jet during our trip to New York and then rescued me midway
