It was pointless struggling with the cuff around my wrist so all I could do was seat on the desk and recall the look in his eyes as he walked away.

He wanted to hurt people because of me and I could do nothing to stop him.

I've never for once thought a day would come when Mr. Pompous gets pissed because I was hurt.

Each day I realized I might have been seeing him from the wrong perspective.

The creaking noise of the door made me turn and I saw James Kennedy entering with two men in construction uniform but they paused seeing me in this position.
