After having our seats opposite each other, I did not waste any more time to begin the conversation, "You know, I did my little research on you and found out that you somehow have control over every business enterprise in New York. You either have considerable shares or they are owned by your subordinates"

There was a slight change in his expression and this made me cross my legs.

I'm not surprised, he surely wasn't expecting me to hit the nail on the head without the slightest hesitation.

He crossed his hands and looked directly at me before whispering, "Are you sure you want to have this conversation with me?"

The left corner of my lip slowly rose knowing there was no turning back now.

He needs to understand that I'm not a regular business tycoon but someone who knows about the underground network in New York City.

"I didn't come here myself just to say hello to you" I crossed my fingers too.

He grinned and retracted his frame into the chair.

"Just as I predicted, one c
