I slowly faced Brinley. "What are you doing here?"
Brinley's expression was full of disappointment. "I could ask you the same thing."
I came around the bar, pulling her away towards the dance floor. "You need to leave. It's not safe here. Please, just trust me," I said, placing my hands on her shoulders.
"I don't understand," she expressed, confused.
"Hello, ladies," Alek said as he approached, and my heart sank into the pit of my stomach.
"Um, next time, don't be afraid to ask. That's what I'm here for." I played it off, hoping he wouldn't find out Brinley was my best friend.
"What the hell are you talking about, Bristol?" Brinley asked, looking at me as if I'd gone crazy.
All my efforts at trying to save everyone from this man weren't working. They just kept showing up. Who would be next?
"Who are you?" Alek asked, glancing at my friend.
Brinley cocked her head, trying to figure out this stranger who had just imposed on our conversation. "The real question is, who are you?"
Alek smirked, amused, and got close to Brinley's face. "Your worst nightmare."
"Please, Alek, she won't come back, right, Brinley?" I asked, my expression pleading.
Brinley narrowed her eyes, frustrated. "Are you cheating on Cole?"
Alek wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me against him, and his hand gripped my ass. "Oh, she hasn't told you about our late-night fucks?"
My best friend glanced at me in disbelief. "How could you? After all, you said about saving yourself for marriage."
Alek lifted a brow, intrigued.
"Brinley, it's not like that," I tried to explain, but she put her hand up, blocking my explanation.
"Save it!" She replied in irritation. "I'll leave as you want but don't expect to hear from me again." She added.
"Brinley, please."
She shook her head, backing away, then took off for the exit.
I wanted so badly to curl up into a ball and cry. My best friend now hates me all because of this stupid tattooed man.
When I realized Alek's arm was still on me, I shoved him off. "You're such a jerk!" I took off towards the stairs, but Alek was right behind me. Before I could even get to the top, he grabbed me, slinging me over his shoulder. "LET ME GO!" I kicked and screamed.
Alek took me back down the stairs and out of the alley exit, placing me in the front seat of a large SUV.
As Alek got in on the driver's side, I spoke. "Where are you taking me?" I asked nervously.
"I'm done for the night, so I am going home." He answered.
"But what are you going to do with me?" I swallowed.
"You'll see."
I curled up against the door and glanced out the window to hide my tears.
We pulled into a gated mansion. Alek parked in on the six-car garages he had and turned off the engine. I opened my door, looking around the garage, and saw he was a car collector. My mom's car would have been an art piece he could have added, but he gave it back. Why?
Alek came around the front of the SUV. "Let's go." He ordered me over.
I was glancing down as I walked towards him. He placed his hand on the small of my back, guiding me into the house. Alek walked me upstairs, opening the door to a large room with an open bathroom. A huge hot tub sat in the room's corner.
Looking around, I took in the red paint and dark curtains. Alek walked past me, taking a seat on the bed, leaning back onto his elbows. He eyed me from top to bottom.
"Like what you see?" Alek asked. I glanced at him then back to the decor. "I do," He added. When I looked back at him, I realized he was talking about me.
I quickly averted my eyes from his gaze. My stomach was doing somersaults, as I knew he could do what he wanted with me, and I would have no way out. "It's beautiful," I managed to say.
"Yeah, it is."
I glanced out of the corner of my eye at him. He wasn't looking at the room. I felt like my heart would beat out of my chest at any moment. "Can I have a glass of water?" I asked, hoping to avoid this awkward situation and maybe get his mind on something else.
Alek cocked an eyebrow. "First, come here." He said, pointing at the floor right in front of him.
Closing my eyes, I took in several breaths, then stepped over to him. After I was in front of him, I closed my eyes again, hoping to keep the nauseated feelings at bay. Alek then leaned forward, gripping my outer thighs, then slowly moved them up, stopping at my waistband.
He narrowed his eyes as he looked up at me from the bed. "You are a virgin, aren't you?"
My eyes flew open. "Why would my friend lie?"
Alek could see the fear in my eyes. He stood towering over me as he looked down at me. I could see the lust in his eyes. He licked his lips before he spoke. "The towels are in the cupboard by the closet. Make yourself at home." He said as he moved past me, leaving out the door.
Relief washed over me.
After I took a shower, trying to wash away the disaster of a day I had. I finally fell fast asleep.
NEXT MORNING...
A knock on the door woke me and in came the bouncer from the club. "Let's go, the boss wants you at the club asap."
I sat up and the bouncer threw clothes at me and left.
"Really? Ugh." I huffed, glaring at the bouncer through the door, wishing I had superpowers to burn a hole in the door and light his ass on fire.
I changed into the clothes he gave me, which were sweats and an oversized T-shirt. We then drove to the club and Damon pulled me out of the car and into the club like a rag doll.
"Hey asshole, I can freaking walk you know!" I said with attitude, struggling to free myself.
"Hey Kid!" Kevin smirked.
My glare was fierce and pointed straight at Kevin. "I'm really starting to hate you," I declared, annoyed.
Kevin laughed, clearly amused by my small petite frame with such a big attitude. "You could never."
"Kevin get work!" The bouncer growled.
Kevin nodded, but still featured his arrogant smirk as he went on his way.
I laughed under my breath a bit when the bouncer glared at me. I stood straight and composed myself. "Geez, you're just bursting with personality."
Damon growled, and it echoed in his throat. "Change now!" He handed me a bag instead of tossing it at me this time.
Glancing through the bag, my eyes went wide. "What the hell is this? Where is my server uniform?"
Damon chuckled. "You're not working the floor tonight."
Worried now, I asked hesitantly. "Where am I working then?"
An evil smile appeared on Damon's face. "The stage." And he burst into laughter as he walked away.
"What?!" I squealed. "Damn it, Damon! Get your ass back here!" I shouted, but he paid me no mind and continued on his way.
Hesitantly, I changed, like I was told. These were not clothes. They were something you wear for your husband. The red lingerie fit perfectly with lace knee-highs attached to the lace panties, which went below my lady bits on my thigh. My tanned skin is out there for all to see. I just have to think it's like wearing a bathing suit, which I did every summer. I grabbed a robe I found near the door and headed out to the bar to find Kevin.
As I came out from the dressing room, I got close to the bar hiding behind the corner and discreetly whisper yelled at Kevin, which didn't work so well. "Kevin?!"
Finally, he hurried over. "Hey, why are we whispering?" He asked, looking around awkwardly, then he looked over the bar at my robe. "Uh, what you got under there?"
My chest heaved, annoyed. "Ask your boss."
"Is he making you go on stage?"
"I think so," I answered.
"Oh, shit," Kevin said, surprised.
Distracted by the crowd of men in front of the stage chanting for the girls. "Oh God, someone save me."
"I can't promise I won't look." Kevin laughed.
I smacked Kevin on the shoulder. "You're not helping."
"Hey, it's just dancing," He said shrugging.
I gave him deadpanned look. "Yeah, and taking off your clothes."
"I wish I could stop it but you know I don't have the power to do so," Kevin said and I could tell he felt sorry for me.
I sighed. "I know."
"Hey you two, can you stop fraternizing? You are going to piss off the boss." Damon demanded. My eyes rolled and Damon pulled me off the barstool and pushed me towards the stage. "Go make that money." He added with a laugh.
Oh, I hated that man to the core. He was such an ass, but the music started and I moved into view, and instantly the men went crazy. Swaying my hips to the music as I walked towards the pole in the middle of the stage. I took many years of dance, so this was nothing new to me except to have so many men drooling over me.
As I approached the pole, I slowly untied the robe and closed my eyes as it fell to the floor. Cheers erupted.
"Damn!!" I club goer shouted with a whistle.
I continued placing my back to the pole and slid down slowly as I lightly dragged my fingers down my body, stopping at my lady bits. When I opened my eyes, there stood Alek in the crowd. His eyes lit like fire. Instantly I felt shy but continued by closing my eyes again. I knew I had to go through with it all, or he could force me to do worse, so I kept swaying as I entangled my fingers in my hair, then moved my hands to my straps and slowly tugged them down.
"Hell yeah baby, take it off!!" the same man yelled.
The men threw money at me and It felt icky.
"Come to daddy sweetheart." The man in the crowd stood, reaching for my leg. Alek was next to him in the blink of an eye.
"BACK THE FUCK OFF!" Alek gripped the guy's head and bashed it into the stage.
"AH!" I screamed, then Alek reached for me, pulling me off the stage and over his shoulder.
"What the hell Alek? This is what you wanted, right?" I said, pounding on his back. "Let me down!"
"Calm down Barbie!" He sneered. Anger filled my insides. I punched him hard. Alek stopped, letting me down. He put his finger in my face. "Stop defying me."
"Stop calling me Barbie. She was a freaking blonde!" I shouted back. "What's your fucking problem? You're so up and down. You wanted me to work the freaking stage, so I did then you go and almost kill your customer. I don't get you." I said, crossing my arms.
Alek pulled me over to the stockroom and shut the door. Once inside, he pushed me against the shelf as he looked over my exposed body. Alek trailed his long fingers across my skin, sending chills to every part of me.
"I'm a confusing man. Always have been, always will be." Alek stated, grabbing something behind my head then gave it to me. "Put your uniform on and go wait on patrons." He ordered and backed away, then disappeared out of the room.
I let out a breath I was holding in and quickly forced myself to get dressed, then hurried to the club floor, picking up a tray on my way.
At the bar, Kevin glances over at me. "Hey, you okay?"
Closing my eyes and taking in a few breaths, I opened them again. "I don't know what I am." I answered.
Kevin placed his hand on mine. "I am sorry you had to endure that." He said sincerely.
A small smile appeared on my lips. "Thanks."
Before I could react, Alek had Kevin in a headlock.
"ALEK!" I shouted, scared for my new friend. "STOP!" I screamed, running around the bar and grabbed Alek's arm to pull him off.
"Dont fucking touch her again, got it?" Alek sneered, his face burned red.
"Alek, what the hell? He was only comforting me."
Alek turned his gaze on me. "I don't care!" He growled.
"Please, it was innocent, I promise." I pleaded, hoping he would realize he was overreacting.
Alek stared at me for a moment before he shoved Kevin away. He glanced back at Kevin with a fierce gaze. "Touch her again, and you will regret it!" he snarled at Kevin on the floor.
I grabbed Alek's arm, and it was shaking. He was so pissed. "Hey it's okay, calm down. Kevin is my friend. He means no harm." and he looked at me. He seemed more at ease.
"It's time to leave." Alek ordered, pulling me away.
"Wait, I haven't even worked my shift." I said, curious why he was forcing me out.
"And you won't again." Alek declared.
"Please Alek, don't lock me up in the house. Ill go crazy." I begged as he dragged me towards the exit.
He stopped and faced me. "I can't trust men around you." He stated and continued dragging me away. As we made it through the exit and he forced me into the car, I feared I would never see the light of day again.
At the mansion, I follow Alek through the halls, demanding he talk to me. "Alek, please don't force me to stay here." He only glances over at me. Annoyed, I keep talking, hoping it will get him to give me some answers. "I don't see what the problem is if the men look at me? That's what you made the deal for, right? So I can help your club make money?"Alek stood from the couch quickly, making me flinch. "You do not know why I made the deal.""No, I don't. That's why I'm asking." I replied in a sarcastic tone.Alek came towards me, gripping my hair, pulling my head back, exposing my neck. His lips grazed my skin, and electricity surged through me. Something I never felt before. I closed my eyes, taking in this moment to the fullest, and for the first time, my core was wet from his touch. I felt guilty for liking it. Alek's scent engulfed my senses, encouraging my arousal further. With my eyes closed, not realizing I let my mouth part from pleasure, a
After the mafia doctor took Alek back to the examination room, the thought of running crossed my mind. I saved him. Maybe he wouldn't come after me.I sat in the front room of this tiny house, which I'm guessing, was just for these purposes. My leg bouncing anxiously as I bit my nails, trying to figure out what I should do.Would he kill my father? Would he kill us both? Or worse, would he kill everyone I've ever loved and leave me alone for the rest of my life? All these thoughts coursed through my brain."Hey, he wants to see you."I glanced up to the doctor who stood in the doorway, then stood walking towards him. "How long have you been the doctor for his mafia?" I questioned."We grew up together. I only chose a different path." He answered.I shook my head, disappointed. "Not really. They still involve you in their lies and murderous ways." I retorted. The doctor only l
A WEEK LATER...I have been in this freaking mansion for a week, and I would literally do anything just to work at the club to get the hell out of here, but since I won't even speak to Alek, there's no way he will let me. Plus, he's afraid I’ll run.I stood from the bed and went down to the kitchen. To my surprise, Alek is here instead of his new goon to watch me. And by the way, he was almost as much of an asshole as Damon was.Alek glanced up from whatever he was writing, and his eyes followed me across the kitchen. I glared in his direction, then rolled my eyes.My outfit of choice was an oversized sweater that slumped off my shoulder. And I completely forgot to put on shorts because I thought Alek would have left already.I bent down awkwardly, trying to grab the juice.“Why the hell are you bending like that?” Alek starred, confused. “Are you broken?”
We pulled into a fancy restaurant in downtown LA. Alek came around, opened my door, and helped me out.As we entered, a friendly server approached. “Mr. Nabokav, welcome. We have your usual table.”A smile formed on my lips, and a giggle almost escaped me.“Don’t even,” Alek whispered as we followed the server.I pretended to zip my lip. “Your secret is safe with me.”Alek chuckled under his breath. At the table, Alek pulled out my chair, and I accepted. Then he sat across from me.“What can I get you to drink?” The server asked, looking between the two of us.“Whiskey,” Alek answered.I looked up from the menu at the server. “The same.”Alek lifted a brow. “You sure?”“I’m not as innocent as you think.” And I nodded for the
NEXT DAY...Walking down the stairs ready for the day, I find myself alone, except for my bodyguard, or should I say, prison guard. Drake sat at the table, reading something on his phone.“Where is Alek?” I asked.Drake looked up. “He had a meeting.”“How am I going to get to the club?” I questioned.Drake grinned. “Me sweetheart.”The way he looked at me gave me creeper vibes.Annoyed, I glare at him. “It’s Bristol,” I stated with my hand on my hip.“Whatever hotcakes,” Drake laughed, looking back at his phone.Anger bubbled up. I slammed my hand on the counter. “I said my name is Bristol!” I shouted, repeating myself. He stood. “Watch it. That pretty little mouth shouldn’t talk like that. I have a few ideas about how I should be used.”&
It stunned Alek for a second, but quickly comprehended what I said. His lips forcefully smashed into mine. His hands cupped my face as he deepened our kiss. Alek tasted so good. I wanted him to ravish every part of me. We pulled apart, breathless. "I want you so damn bad," Alek whispered as he placed his forehead against mine. "Then do it. Take me now Alek," I teased. There was a rumble in his chest when he gripped the back of my thighs and lifted me to straddle him. He held me effortlessly as he walked towards the hall. "No, I can't wait. I want you now," I said with urgency. Alek slammed me against the wall, and I wrappe
The other bartender made my drinks, and I returned to the table, unsure what I was getting myself in the middle of. “Here you go, four whiskeys,” I placed the drinks down and left, but the man’s voice stopped me. “Why in such a rush?” He asked. Turning back to him, I smiled politely. “I have to check on my tables. I’ll be back to check on you in a few,” I said and turned to leave, but the man grabbed my wrist. Instantly his hand was ripped off me and I was placed behind Alek. The man and Alek glared at each other. “What? Not happy to see an old friend?” the man’s lip curved into a grin. He leaned back against the booth, placing his hands on the top.
Alek stared at me with admiration in his eyes. “Why would you risk your life for me? I stole yours, remember?” I thought over his words for a second. “You may have changed my life, but you didn’t steal it. You saved it.” Baffled, he stared blankly, not sure what to say to those words, and placed the car in drive, then took off. We pulled off onto the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. It was dark. The only light came from the half-moon perched up in the sky. Alek put the vehicle in park and glanced at me. “Stay here,” he ordered. When I tried to argue, he pressed his plump lips to mine in a passionate kiss like this could be the last I see of him, and that made my insides go anxious at the
"There is nothing to talk about," I stated. Cole looked at his feet and then back at me. "I'm sorry about the other day and for everything." "Well, the asshole knows how to apologize. Congratulations, you want a freaking cookie?" Cole huffed. "I was blindsided when my mom asked me to come to dinner. I thought they were trying to get us to work things out, but they told me about their relationship, which they had been hiding from me too." He rubbed his hand over his face. "But makes sense after your mom died. Your dad was very alone and lost until my mom came along." "Are you done?" I said with annoyance. I only came here to tell you your dad is miserable without you and you should talk to him. Give their love a chance. I've seen it, and it's real." Cole explained, and I felt guilty for not thinking of my father's happiness. Footsteps came from behind me. "Who the hell are you?" Luka glared at Cole. I rolled my eyes. "He's leaving." Cole looked between the two of us. "Yeah, wel
Alek's bulge dances with my sweet spot, coaxing me to moan against his lips. "I. need. you. Now." I whined between kisses, practically begging, as I nibbled on his lower lip. "Bri, I'm going to make you cum so hard that by the time I'm done with, you will soak the sheets in your juices," Alek growled. "Oh Alek, take me now!" I moaned with a heavy breath. He grabbed the top of my panties and ripped them in half. I squealed, then giggled. He proceeded with unbuckling his belt and dragged his pants down. As he removed his boxers, the elastic band pulled his cock down and it flopped back against his V-shaped torso. Gripping my hips, he positioned my legs on his shoulders. Alek's erection met my entrance, inserting the tip slightly. "Oh, lord!" I arched my back and moaned. "I love you," Alek whispered, then he slowly inserted his member, letting my walls adjust to his size. The pain was intense, but exciting, too. My wetness helped him slip further inside. "Fuck! You feel so g
Beep... Beep... Beep. The sound softly went with the rhythm of my heart. My eyes fluttered open. Glancing around, I quickly recognized the place. Why was I at Dr. Michael's? Searching the room, it was hard to make out everything, as my eyes were still adjusting. "Thank God. You're awake," Alek said, his voice softer and filled with concern. He gripped my hand in his. Finally, I could focus and see things. Alek stared at me. "Hey. I'm okay," I reassured him, squeezing his hand. "You scared me." "I'm sorry. I'm not sure what happened. Everything was just so overwhelming, and then I felt faint," I explained. Alek got up from the chair and lay beside me in the bed, cuddling me against his chest when the door opened. "Hey there." We both glanced up to see Michael. "Hey," I replied lowly. "So after some tests and blood work, I've found that you are anemic and dehydrated," Michael wrote on his notepad before clicking his pen closed and pocketing it. "You had a panic attack c
After we picked out my dress, Brinley and I headed to our favorite place in LA. The server sat us at a booth near the back in a corner. We ordered, then conversed patiently while waiting for our food. "I can't believe our lives now," Brinley said before sipping on her iced tea. "I know it's crazy." "One question," Brinley asked. After taking a drink, I sat my glass back on the table and looked at her. "What's that?" "After all Alek did, are you sure you love him?" My eyes narrowed. "Why are you asking me this now?" I answered with a question. Brinley shrugged. "Just want to ensure that this is what you want, not what you think you want." She grabbed my hand in hers across the table. "Alek had killed innocent people, and I know you, Bristol. This will eventually get to you." "Of course I love him," I replied, playing her question off with a laugh, but I couldn't help but think about what she was saying. We finished lunch with no more talk about Alek and I. Brinley's shift star
Bristol After I finished showering, I folded the laundry, then cleaned up the room. Even though Alek proposed and I said yes, I still feel that sleeping in the same room would cause a lot of frustration for both parties, So I stay in my room until the wedding. As I put away the last pair of jeans, the door creaked open and I glanced behind me to find Alek standing in the doorway. "Hey beautiful," he murmured. Closing the drawer, I got up from my kneeling position, smiling. "Hello handsome." Alek came across the room, making the space between us disappear. He peered down at me with an admiring smile and a longing I couldn't quite describe other than I smote him. How crazy it was to see a ruthless man smitten. Moving my long hair from my neck, moving it to one side, he placed a sensual kiss against my rapid pulse. "If only you knew how much I wanted you, Bri. It will take all my willpower to leave this room, but I know waiting is what you want and I will graciously grant it,"
~Bristol~In shock, I just stood there, baffled. "I'm sorry, what?" The man shared the same last name as Alek tilted his head at me. "Let me guess. Alek kept me his dirty little secret?" Turning to Alek, I glared. "Alek?" I questioned, placing my hand on my hip."He's a traitor!" Alek sneered in Luka's direction. "Bullshit!" Luka tossed back heatedly. Alek's face burned bright red. "You slept with Katalina the night before our wedding," he shouted, moving toward him in heavy strides. "Alek, no!" I stepped in front of him. "You're in no shape to be fighting," I chastised. He sighed and unclenched his fist. "I loved her," Luka claimed. Ugh, the nerve of this man. Now I wanted to punch him and was half tempted. "You!" I pointed my finger at Luka's chest. "If you are who I think you are, you should know better than going against your family. Isn't there some brother code for your sibling's partner?" I asked, looking between the brothers because I had no clue I was an only child.
AT THE MANSION...After a hot bath, I got dressed in attire for a boss—a brown low cut silky top with white bellbottom dress pants and white heels. Glancing in the mirror, I felt satisfied and left for the garage, grabbing the keys to my Camaro on the way out.As I drove through LA heading towards my dad's house, I thought about the past few months how fast all this had gone and felt a little doubt which pissed me off that my father was getting in my head. Am I making the right choice? Is it too soon to marry Alek? I don't think so, but my father's words ran through my mind. With all my thoughts distracting me, I made it to my father's in no time. I parked then walked up the steps when my father opened the door before I could even knock."Hey," he said, standing in the doorway.
"Oh my God!" I screamed excitedly. My arms instantly wrapped around Alek's neck. Alek accepted my embrace fully. "Hey, don't cry," he said, lifting my chin so he could see my face. "You know I would never leave you." Unable to hold back how much I missed him, I took the opportunity to devour his plump lips. He didn't hesitate and wrapped his fingers in my hair, pressing our lips harder together. As we pulled apart, our eyes met, and our souls felt like they were eternally connected. We were interrupted by the doctor clearing his throat. "I see you're awake and already making out with a pretty girl." Alek chuckled. "She's not just any pretty girl. She is my fiance." The doctor smirked as he walked over to the machine next to the bed. "Need to check your vitals and run some tests to make sure your brain is functioning correctly." he pushed some buttons, causing the machine to make some annoying beeping sounds, then turned to us. "Bristol,
My hands gripped the steering wheel as I sped down the freeway. As I pulled into the back alley, I quickly got out running inside, not caring to check if the car was even in park. Out of breath, I looked around at everyone who sat in the waiting area. "Bristol!" Kevin yelled, getting up from his seat to run over to me. "Where is he?" I asked frantically. "Still in with the doc," Kevin answered, unsure what else to say. "What's happening? The doctor called me said to hurry," I said, running my hands over my face, feeling overwhelmed. Kevin looked over my appearance for a moment, noticing my Drake sprinkled face, and his eyes went to my soaked clothes. "Are you hurt?" I shook my head. "No, it's not my blood." My body trembled; I felt like I was on crack, and Alek was my drug. I just needed to know what was going on. "I want to see Alek." I walked past when Kevin grabbed my arm gently.
