Elina pulled out of Damonq’s mind abruptly and he felt the loss instantly.

“Don’t do that. We’re in this together. It doesn’t matter if the sliver is there. We know what Darkness is doing and we’re countering his every move. He can’t make you less than you are. He simply can’t.”
