She was in the bathroom the next day. It was raining heavily outside and the blend of rain and the brightness of the house made her look all the more beautiful. Later that evening, they were to attend a ball they had been invited to and Connor was not looking forward to it because balls weren't his thing. He preferred to stay at home, alone without any disturbance but now that he was with Annah, he knew that it was something that he couldn't avoid. He had to go whether he liked it or not because if he didn't, Annah would surely force him to go.
