“Yes. Be here as soon as you can, please. Okay.” I let out a sigh after I hung up the call and my knees felt weak, my legs were too tired to hold me and before I could think, my back had already hit the pole.

Sighing again, I knew really well that it would take a long time for Maeve to warm up to me again, she never warmed up to me to start with.
