Chapter Seventy-Six: Crime Boss

Sitting in the silent car on the way to the restaurant where all of this was taking place, I never allowed my mind time to worry about it all, I kept repeating the same plan which Jayden gave me over and over again in my head so I knew what to do without thinking about it much in the moment.

The same street that I had walked down almost daily at one point soon filled my vision, the same people walking up and down it as each day before getting on with their lives. But one thing which made me sit in my seat frozen slightly was the sight of the café I had spent countless hours of my life working, the once happy filled building with the smell of fresh coffee and whatever treats we had in that day was replaced with broken building and a huge wooden block concealing the broken building.
