They thought that their life is finally back on track, but it was just an illusion until one day. It was the day of her graduation when she was finally done with her graduation and can start searching for a full-time job where she will earn decent money and they didn’t have to worry about anything.

It was the best day of her life, and she wanted to celebrate this news and this very special day with her little sister, Ritika. Therefore, she wanted to reach home in a heartbeat. But when she reached home and opened the door, she found her sister on the floor unconscious.

She immediately brought her to the hospital. Seeing, her condition, the doctor immediately pushed her into the ward and ran different tests on her. Dharna sat on one of the chairs while the doctor examined her inside the ward.

Around after an hour, the doctor came out of the room with a grim expression on his face. “What is it, doctor?” She asked.

The doctor looked at her and spoke. “We had run numerous tests on her and all tests had come positive”.

Dharna didn’t know what he was talking about. So, she asked “What is it? Doctor, what are the results”?

“Your sister has gastric cancer. It is also known as stomach cancer”. The doctor told her politely.

After hearing this, Dharna didn’t know how to react. She kept looking at the doctor numbly.

“Miss Vias”. the doctor called for her when he didn’t get any response from her, even after some time. He shook her shoulders lightly.

She came to her senses and looked at the doctor before she asked, “Doctor, how can this happen? She was very healthy and eat healthy food as well. She had just a mild fever for four days and vomited yesterday. I… I had given her medicine, and she was alright when I left her at home in the morning. Then, how can…  this”.

she started to cry before she could even finish the sentence. The doctor patted her shoulder. “Please Miss, Vyas, controls your emotions. It is not too late. We have the treatment, and she will be fine after that”.

When Dharna heard this, she looked at the doctor again, her eyes were full of hope. “Do you mean that my sister can be saved with treatment?”

When the doctor saw that she has stopped crying. He nodded his hand and spoke. “Please come to my office. We will discuss it further there”.

With that, he started to walk to his office. Dharna gave one last look to her sister, who was lying unconscious on the hospital bed with different machines connected to her body through wires.

She choked into sobs again and put her hand on her mouth to stop herself from crying further then she followed the doctor and reached his office. The doctor first told her to sit and then offered a glass of water to her, which she accepted half-heartedly.

She took two sips of water from the glass only before putting down the glass. The doctor sat on his cheer in front of her and opened the file, which contained Ritika’s report. Then he spoke.

“Miss Vyas. Your sister has gastric cancer, as I told you earlier, but she will be fine with the treatment”.

“Then what are you waiting for? Doctor, let’s start with the treatment”.

Dharna spoke in a heartbeat.

“Yes, we will start with the treatment soon. But I want to tell you that the treatment is a bit expensive as she is in the third stage, which requires surgery as well. Although it is not dangerous for the time being, but it required surgery within a year”.

Then Dhana looked at the doctor and spoke. “Then what are we getting? Well, let’s do the surgery and treat her”.

Then the doctor spoke again. “Miss. Vyas, I want to tell you that combining with the expenses of surgery and treatment will cost you around $70,000. And it excludes medicines and other hospital bills”.

Hearing this, Dhana was still. where would she get this amount of money? To save the savings of their parents had left for them, she started to do multiple jobs and started earning a decent amount which was enough to live a normal and decent life. Their savings are only $20,000 around. From where she will get an extra $50,000 for surgery and also to cover the hospital bills and medicines?

Dharna was in a dilemma.

Vikramaditya’s eyes blazed with fury the moment Sahil stepped into view, but he forced the fire down, burying it beneath a mask of calm. His jaw tightened, his breath slowed, and when he spoke, his voice was steady — almost too steady.“Why are you here?” he asked, each word measured, deliberate, as though spoken through clenched teeth.Sahil tilted his head, a mocking smile curling at his lips. He shrugged with exaggerated carelessness, the gun in his hand gleaming as he lazily pointed it toward the door.“Nothing much,” he said, his tone dripping with false innocence. “I just wanted to know how much you actually like that girl.” His finger tapped the barrel, gesturing toward Dharna’s room. Then he chuckled, low and cruel. “Man, you didn’t disappoint me. You actually care about her.”Inside, Dharna stirred. Her senses had sharpened as the wolfsbane’s grip weakened. Though she still couldn’t reach Leela, her wolf, her hearing was crystal clear. Every word outside pierced through the w

  • The Mafia Alpha's Triplets   Hello Brother

Vikramaditya paced the cracked pavement, eyes scanning the desolate stretch where the SUV had last been seen. The silence pressed in, broken only by the faint rustle of wind through dry weeds. Then his gaze caught something unusual — a car covered in a heavy tarp.In a place this abandoned, a covered vehicle was rare. Too rare. His instincts screamed at him. He strode forward, yanked the cover free, and froze. The black SUV. The same number plate. The ghost from the cameras, now sitting in plain sight.Rohan’s breath caught. “It was here all along… right in front of us.”Vikramaditya’s jaw clenched. Anger and guilt twisted inside him. Too blind. Too consumed by worry. I missed the obvious. He pulled open the door. Empty. But the faint trace of Dharna lingered — her fragrance, fragile yet undeniable. Proof she had been inside. He closed his eyes. “Rudra… I need your help.”A low growl stirred

Dharna’s eyelids fluttered open, the chill of the concrete biting into her skin. Her wrists and ankles throbbed where the coarse rope dug into them. For a moment, her mind was fogged, heavy, as though she had been pulled from a deep, unnatural sleep. She forced herself to breathe, slow and steady, and scanned the room. The darkness was suffocating—so complete that she couldn’t tell if it was midnight or midday. The single window was sealed tight, its frame reinforced, denying even the faintest sliver of light. Her gaze shifted to the door. Shut. Silent. No handle on her side. The air smelled faintly of rust and damp stone, as if the room had been abandoned for years. She reached inward, calling for her wolf—Leela. The bond that usually pulsed like a heartbeat inside her was silent. Empty. She tried again, desperation sharpening her voice, but there was no response. The ropes binding her limbs carried a faint shimmer, and when she tugged, the sting of wolfsbane burned into her skin.Dh

The next morning, Dharna woke up groggily, her head heavy from the restless night. Sleep had been a stranger, chased away by the endless loop of questions in her mind. How will I talk to him? What if he admits it was just a casual hook-up? What if he defends himself? Her wolf’s voice stirred within her, calm yet firm. “Have you forgotten what Ritika said? Trust yourself. If anything goes wrong, I will be with you.”Dharna closed her eyes, letting the words settle. A deep breath escaped her lips, steadying her nerves. She rose from bed and walked to the bathroom, splashing cold water on her face. The reflection in the mirror looked tired, but beneath the fatigue was a flicker of resolve. No more running. No more doubts. Today, I face him. After dressing, she stepped out of her house, the morning air crisp against her skin. The city was alive with its usual rhythm—vendors shouting, cars honking, people rushing—but Dharna felt as though fate itself was waiting for her.Her thoughts whisp

Fiancée This word echoed in her ears, even when she entered the office. Her mind went back to the confrontation with that blonde woman.*** A few hours earlier ***The blonde stepped closer, her tone dripping with disdain. “Stay away from Vicky.”Dharna blinked. Vicky? Who the hell is Vicky? Her mind raced. Is she confusing me with someone else? But then the woman’s next words landed like a dagger.“Vikramaditya Bhardwaj is my fiancé.”Then she continued. “You must be one of those whom he bangs for sew times and forgets”. Dharna’s throat tightened as Britteny’s words cut through the air like knives.Bang a few times and forget… The phrase echoed in her mind, each syllable dripping with contempt. Her cheeks burned, not just from humiliation but from the cruel possibility that it might be true. She clenched her fists at her sides, nails digging into her palms. Don’t react. Don’t give her the satisfaction.Britteny circled her slowly, like a predator savouring its prey. Her heels clicke

The mansion was hushed when Vikramaditya and Dharna finally returned, their laughter echoing faintly in the grand hall. Hours of running through the forest had left them flushed, exhilarated, and unaware of how late it had become. Midnight pressed against the tall windows, the world outside cloaked in silence. They sank into the living room couches, still catching their breath, words tumbling out in easy rhythm. Dharna glanced at the clock and sighed softly.“I should go now. It’s very late.”Vikramaditya leaned forward, his tone casual but insistent.“Let me drive you home.”She shook her head with a smile. “It’s okay, I can manage. I had a great time tonight. This date was… honestly, it was perfect.”He smirked, eyes gleaming. “Well, I arranged it. You were bound to enjoy it.”“Cocky much?” she teased, standing to leave. They walked together to the door, the night air cool against their skin. Dharna turned, her expression softening.“Bye. See you in the office tomorrow.”Before he c
