Chapter 48: Not The Right Time

Cylas looked at us with wide eyes when he heard Molie.

“G-going to Blue Moon? Are you sure it’s safe?”

Me and Declan were still sitting at the dining table in Molie’s backyard. Cylas seemed to help her harvest the veggies they needed, but we were sure that it was only Molie’s way of telling him that she would depart for a while from Elderlake.

“It is, Cylas don’t worry. I wanted to see where my Mom’s buried anyway.” We could hear here in this distance.

“Are you worried about them?” We heard her again, “They won’t hurt me, I know that…”

“But, Molie, Myrna said that…”

“Mom sent them here before her death, Cylas. She made them come here to seek my help. Mom will never do anything to hurt me in any way…”

We heard them. I was grateful somehow that it was really me and Declan that came in here. What if someone else pretends to be us? From this matter, I could tell that Molie must be at least years way younger than us, it is normal for Cylas to worry about her sudden decision.
