Jasper

I had entered Celia’s room to get her ready for the next task but upon seeing her lounging in that hot bath, something had flared inside of me.

Her innocent little frame was sitting by the edge of the small bath, and the sweet scent of the body washes and herbs along with the flickering candles that cast a soft glow on her beautiful face was mesmerizing to look at.

It was hard but I had put up a stern expression and asked her to get ready soon but my little kitten did not want to listen to me. She was just as wild and untamed as I had seen her the first time.

She had placed her hands on her hips and glared at me but I had seen the small peaks on her little mounds harden under the water when I had said I would drag her out myself.

It was a cat and mouse game with her and I loved playing it for some reason. Her hissing and bickering amused me as much as it annoyed me.

But, I had not been prepared for her to sit on my lap and start kissing me. The way her soft hands wove through m

CeliaThe feeling of having an orgasm was exhilarating. Jasper had not kissed me, not even thrown me on the bed and slid inside of me but his fingers had been enough to rock my core.My muscles had gone limp, my entire body had gone limp and I wanted nothing more than to curl up like a ball and go to sleep.Maybe with him lying beside me as I snuggled up to him. I felt I was in bliss as he slowly pulled out his hand and brought it to his mouth. No words came to my mind as he one by one licked his fingers clean, making me blush deeper than a maiden who had just seen something explicit. Was I a maiden anymore? Since when I had become so bold and let someone assault me, my body, and my senses? His silver eyes were burning as he finished licking his hands and I let my hair fall in front of my face to hide my expression. What he had said was right…Jasper did not give empty promises. I was still craving for more, still wanting him to assault me, to throw me on the bed, and claim me.“I…I ca

CeliaJasper followed my gaze and it rested on the beast I was looking at from far away.“Those are prideful creatures, shadow stalkers. They are hard to tame and even harder to be allowed to ride”I looked at him and batted my eyelashes playfully, “But I believe you can tame it”Jasper raised an eyebrow. “Trying to goad me so that I enter the enclosure and get gravely injured?”I stuck out my tongue.Jasper shook his head and turned his attention to the nightsteeds. “There is a fine line between bravery and foolery. While I do not doubt that I can tame that beast for I was the one to bring it here, I will not take the bait simply to boost my ego and prove it to you”I shrugged, “Well, at least I tried”He winked, “Vampires are proud creatures too. Ivan might do something stupid if you hurt his ego enough. That would get you out of a tricky situation, remember that”“He would not know the difference between bravery and foolery?”Jasper opened the gate to the enclosure as a few servan

CeliaThe carriage stopped outside a small establishment that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Or maybe, I was just not used to seeing anything except the huge palace walls and all the finery around me.I stepped out of it, my heart racing with excitement and anticipation. I had no idea just where the Lycan Prince, Jasper, had brought me now, but the thought of a surprise thrilled her to no end." your highness, should I be nervous?" I asked, her eyes scanning the signboard that read 'The needle sisters.'"Patience, my dear Celia. You'll find out soon enough," Jasper replied with a smirk, extending his arm for me to take. The way he said ‘my Celia’ though cheekily made me blush a little. However, I showed no sign of the butterflies that had suddenly erupted in my heart and rolled my eyes instead. A moment later, I slipped my arm in his, and the both of us walked inside the establishment. As soon as we entered, two women came rushing towards us. At first, they had only seen me b

JasperI left Celia in the hands of the two sisters as I stepped out of the door. I had ensured that the two women kept her busy for hours while I left for my next mission.Reaching for my coat pocket, I pulled out the small purse in which I had plucked a few small ropes of the nightshade plant. After ensuring that it was still safe, I looked around once before entering the forest. It had been a rather long cut and was not my usual route but I did not want to take any chances.I looked up at the sky. There was no moon today. It was perfect and I did not wish to risk going inside the forest from the palace grounds. The last time Borivin had almost been just a short distance away from figuring out what I was doing. And I did not wish to tempt my fate. Thus slowly but carefully, I made my way through the forest, my heightened senses allowing me to navigate easily in the darkness. As I drew closer to an abandoned cave, I could feel a sense of unease building within me.I pulled out the pa

Jasper “What is it?” I enquired and she gave me a playful smile. “A simple one to see if you could be considered worthy by our Goddess.” I looked behind her and at the tall imposing statue of a Goddess that loomed over us, her head almost touching the ceiling. She had the face of a phoenix and the body of a woman. The statue seemed to look down at us, the sharp angular eyes that seemed to emit some powerful fire beams and burn down whoever dared to displease her. As I observed the statue of the Goddess behind me, Keltia explained, “She is Goddess Fyere. The first phoenix Goddess who could not only harbor the power of fire but also all other elements.” “So something happened that she lost the other ones?” I enquired and I saw Keltia shift uncomfortably in her seat. Apparently, talking about the Goddess’ shortcomings or misdeeds would not make it any easier for me. “Do not try to mock my God. Yours isn’t free of any taint either” She said and I stiffened. I was neither a believer

Jasper I let out an irritated breath, took the small vial from her, and safely tucked it in my pockets. Keltia came with me to the door to see me out and stuck her staff in one of the walls. Though I believed it was less about being courteous to her guest and more about not wanting me to wander into her territory unsupervised. But it did not matter as I did not plan to invade her space as of now. If things went downhill in the future and I was desperate to receive the ink, maybe I would do that. For now, I just wanted to get back to Celia. The door opened and I stepped out of it and was greeted by the cold night again. The fresh air of the forest felt nice and I took lungfuls of it after being enclosed in that dimly lit cave for a long time. The way Keltia had spoken about the favor and the payment for next time was something that bothered me but I pushed that worry to the back of my mind. I reminded myself that I had to return to Celia and take her back to the palace. The Vampire

CeliaThe steady rhythm of the nightsteed’s hooves clopping against the road lulled me to sleep and I was not even aware of how time flew and how we reached the castle. Somebody shook me and it took them three tries to wake me up. I opened my eyes, expecting it to be Jasper but it was Grace. She smiled at me and spoke, “My lady. Let us get you to your room then you can sleep again”I straightened my back. My neck was feeling a bit sore after having leaned on the coach’s wall awkwardly for the length of the ride.“Wh-where is Jasper?” I asked and Celia answered, “He went to do some work and asked me to get you to your room.”I let her help me get out of the carriage. In a weird sense of way, coming back to the palace somehow made me feel like I was returning to a familiar place. It would be a far cry to call it my home but it did make me feel as if I could rest without getting thrown out of the room or attacked in my sleep. As I and Grace chatted on our way back to my room, I saw Matr

CeliaThe next day I was woken pretty early by Grace to get ready for our drive to the Vampire ball. I was too anxious to eat and only forced down half a piece of bread down my throat when Grace would not stop pestering me about it.I somehow gulped the tea to calm my nerves and let Grace do my hair and choose a dress for me. She pulled out a simple and elegant pink colored gown for the travel.“How is this one, my lady?” She enquired as she held the dress up for me to examine. I only waved my hand away and mumbled, “Whatever”She braided my hair and packed a few essential belongings before reminding me a dozen times how to apply make up.That was yet another small but important lesson Jasper had asked her to give me. There would be no maids around me to help in the Vampire castle so I would be pretty much on my own.She had detailed and given me a make up tutorial detailing what type of make up to put on what type of occasion, what shades go best with what types of dress colors etc

Jasper I turned my head to look at her from a distance. I could see the nervousness in her gaze, in her body language. My gaze flicked to the guests, all of whom were looking at her. She cleared her throat, “Today is going to be a big day of my life. But before I take that step…I…I wanted to tell you all something.” Her gaze found mine and I only smiled at her. Before she could speak another word, one of the many people in the crowd placed a hand on his chest and bowed down to her. Celia was stunned and watched him In surprise. Behind her, Nymeria, Xenos, and Vasil were slowly descending the stairs too. Following the first person, a few more did the same- place a hand on their chest, their heart to be precise, and bowed to her, going down on one knee. “What is going on?” She asked In a low voice. Soon, everybody followed suit. In a matter of minutes, the entire crowd was on its knees, bowing to her. Her eyes flicked to me and I too did the same gesture. Placing my hand on my

JasperI cleared my throat and looked down at the crowd of people who had come to witness the wedding. There had been no happy event or celebration in the palace after my birth. That day had been a day of celebration but Isadora had turned it into a nightmare. And after all those years, finally, we were having a moment to rejoice. But as I watched the hopeful eyes of the people surrounding me, I could not shake the uneasy feeling gnawing at me.I had to get rid of it. And the only way to do that was to be honest. For a confused moment, I stood on the stairs, looking at the excited faces of the people around me.My gaze flicked to my father and brothers, all of whom were smiling proudly at me.“Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please?” I asked in a loud voice, turning even those heads that had been momentarily distracted while looking at the grandeur of the palace.“First of all, I would like to thank you all for being present today. JasperThe huge room suddenly felt too small and the air in the world did not seem enough to fill my lungs.Celia had spoken something, but I was too busy staring at her.My heartbeat was roaring in my ears as I took in her beauty that shone radiantly, nothing short of a thousand lanterns. Her face looked distraught and her eyes were red, her cheeks puffed up. Her makeup had smeared a little too.But despite that, she looked like an angel. A Goddess.I had only seen her in her usual gowns and training clothes, but this marvel…this was just for me.For a minute, I simply stood in front of her, drinking her features. How could she be so blissfully ignorant of what she was doing to me by just standing there in that beautiful dress?I took a step forward, and I saw a tear trickle down her eye.“Shh, don’t cry,” I said softly, reaching for her face and cupping it. And when I did, a surge of electricity rippled through me.My Lycan roared in my head, feeling exhilarated to see her all dolle

CeliaDread settled in my heart when Xenos and Nymeria revealed my life’s biggest secret. My whole life had been a lie?But then what about the people I grew up with thinking they were my parents?Nothing made sense anymore, and I only stared blankly at Xenos.“Is…is that true?”I asked, and he nodded. “There is a reason I never found the courage to tell you all of this earlier. And to be sure that I was not guessing it all wrong, I asked Nymeria to allow me to show her that memory, too. I touched her and with her permission, I looked through her memories…childhood memories, to be specific. There was no trace of me or Isadora in it.”My heart felt like it would break into a million pieces.“But then, how could I never do magic? I never sensed it and…and then why was I not able to fight her when she…she killed me?”I was sobbing hysterically and Nymeria’s face looked like she was cursing herself for ruining my day.She apologized over a thousand times that she did not want me to learn

Celia "Are you going to tell her, or should I?" Nymeria's question hung in the air like a storm cloud, casting a palpable tension in the room. I looked from Nymeria to Xenos, confusion and a growing sense of foreboding twisting in my chest. Their solemn expressions conveyed that something grave was afoot. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, my heart beginning to race. "Tell me what?" I pressed, my voice laced with unease. Xenos, usually a man of few words, hesitated for a moment. His eyes held mine for a second longer than I expected, and I could see a mix of guilt and apprehension in them. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again, the weight of his unspoken words lingering in the room. Nymeria, her expression torn between sympathy and responsibility, finally broke the silence. "Celia, there's something you need to know." I felt a shiver crawl down my spine. The room, once filled with warmth and camaraderie, had now become suffocating with uncertainty. My thoughts raced as
