Jasper

Sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. The sounds of birds chirping outside created a serene ambiance. I lay there, entwined with Celia on the bed.

We lay on the bed, tangled in the sheets, comfortable in each other’s embrace.

Celia had her head resting on my shoulder, her hair spilling all over the pillow. Her hand was resting on my chest and I felt…complete.

She looked so cute and innocent in her sleep as she breathed softly. Her leg was resting on mine and I did not want to disturb her yet.

My gaze traveled outside the window and I slowly held my hand in the soft sunrays peeking through the window as the curtains blew lightly.

The sunlight felt warm and inviting. Such a simple thing yet so refreshing. I figured I was missing out on such important things because I was too occupied with other tasks…or simply because I had not found someone to enjoy simple things with.

I slowly turned to look at Celia as she twitched in her sleep a bit. Her h

CeliaMy heart was thundering with conflicting thoughts about Jasper and Vasil. I could not leave one for another.I had not let anybody touch me like Jasper and even if I wanted to believe in the Moon Goddess’ choice, my heart and body seemed to crave for Jasper. But why could I not wholeheartedly and completely give myself to the handsome Lycan prince?I had heard horror stories of people dying in pain when their destined mates rejected them. Of course, not everybody was so affected by the pain. The Lycan prince had not taken me as a slave but as a friend, and now he was much more than that. Even the thought of his touch and his lips on me was exciting. I could not help but blush when I remembered that. However, his face fell when I spoke about meeting Vasil. I looked at him nervously and Jasper tried to hide his disappointment.“Well, okay, but know that I cannot let you meet him alone. I need to be around.”I nodded my head in understanding. Jasper cared for me and my well-being.

Celia “Vasil, I really need you to tell me everything you remember. Right from the start. Can you please tell me what you were doing in the Vampire Lord’s castle?” He ran a hand through his hair in frustration. “My mind feels muddled” He tugged at his hair and groaned and I could not help but feel miserable at his state. Vasil was my pillar of support in my childhood, so seeing him like this was breaking my heart. “Please, sit down, Vasil.” I placed a hand on his shoulder and made him sit on one of the chairs. Next, I grabbed a glass of water and handed it to him. “Have it, calm down and let us start over again,” I urged, and the look he gave me was of hope and despair. His eyes looked bloodshot, and he took a few sips before setting the glass back on the table. “Now, do you want to talk here or go somewhere out?” “Celia” Jasper took my name in a warning tone but I only gave him a look that said, ‘I know what I am doing’ “I don’t even know where I am,” Vasil said while study

CeliaI was dragged out of the room by Jasper, who would not talk a word to me. “Vasil…let me check on him I begged and pleaded with Jasper, but he did not respond to me. Jasper’s grip on my wrist was firm, and I tried to wriggle myself out of his hold, but he tightened his grip when he sensed my struggle. He almost yanked the door out of the doorframe and stepped out of the room with me in tow. I was screaming at him to leave me, but he did not.The guards were alarmed to see me yelling and screaming, but they could not act against the Lycan prince himself.Jasper looked at Mark, “Ensure he is fed well but if you ever let her inside that room without me, you are going to die along with your entire family.”His gaze was menacing, and Mark could do nothing except nod obediently. Mark threw me a helpless look, but there was not much anybody could do at that point. The door fell shut and Jasper kept dragging me through the pathway and all the way up the stairs.I tried clawing at him wi

CeliaThis was all angry, heated sex and soon I forgot everything else. He was not hurting me. Not really. He was giving in to his need of wanting me and maybe reminding me of my need of him. And my body wanted him.His fingers yanked the sleeve off my dress and he pushed me up the wall, and held my legs wrap around his waist firmly as his teeth grazed my skin.“Ahh” I moaned as he left my mouth to bite my earlobe. His fingers tore away my flimsy panties and he looked me in the eye for a brief second, his face looking both angelic and devilish at the same time. The imprint left by my hand on his cheek and the redness had reduced but it was still there. I tried to cup his face again but he shook his head.I only looked at him in confusion but he began thrusting his finger in me, hard and unforgiving.I was trembling, shaking and he was not letting me even breathe.“J-Jasper…” I tried speaking but his middle finger too joined his index finger and I forgot what I was going to say.Raw, f

CeliaI sat in my room for a long time, knees drawn together as Jasper had walked away without letting me have an orgasm. But his eyes and the way he had looked at me...they seemed beyond hurt. My wolf, Rain, spoke in my head,“I feel very confused about this.”I was angry, furious at him. Half of my brain wanted to drag him back here and continue what he was doing while the other half began worrying about Vasil again.‘Ugh’ I grabbed my head and groaned in frustration.I wiped a tear off my cheek as I greeted her, “I thought you had stopped talking to me”Rain replied gloomily, “I have been trying to analyze my feelings…our feelings and watching everything silently.”“And?” I asked her blankly. She answered in the same low voice, “I…I think we have managed to steal the heart of the youngest Lycan prince.”“What?” I blurted out.Rain continued, “Yes. I have a very good reason to believe so. Vasil is our mate, but Jasper is truly in love with you, Celia. His eyes speak what his mouth d

CeliaI turned around and saw a servant standing in front of me. He had his head bowed to me politely and looked a little troubled.“Yes?”He looked up at me and answered, “Lady Celia, the King has requested your presence.”I furrowed my eyebrows, “Are you sure it is me the King wants to speak to?”He nodded his head, “Yes, my lady.""Uh, Mark, can you ask somebody to check on him? He fainted all of a sudden." I lied, unsure of whether this servant had seen me hit Mark."Yes, my lady. I will inform the maids and send over someone else for duty here" He mumbled and began walking forward. That meant he had not really seen anything. But that was now less of a puzzle to me compared to the one that had just greeted me.I had been living here for almost a year and had never been called to the King’s chamber. The only time I had seen him was the first day I was dragged here and then months ago when I had sneaked in his private meeting chamber with Arwen.I was just one of the many girls in t

CeliaI stared at him with wide eyes as he began coughing violently. I got up from the chair in alarm and ran to him but he just would not stop coughing blood.“Maids!! Help!! The King’s health is deteriorating!!”I screamed and immediately the doors opened and the guards saw the King coughing blood all over. And, before I could speak a word, Matron Arwen stepped in through the door. She looked at me and then at the King covered in blood and immediately shouted, “Take her out”The guards hesitated a moment but she yelled again, “What are you waiting for?”They closed in on me but did not grab my hands or manhandle me. I only looked at her coldly before walking out of the room, letting the guards lead the way and walked out of the room.I was furious at Matron Arwen and I would have my way with her later. But, my mind was currently occupied with the discussion I had with the King. Why had he called me to talk and what did he mean by a mole? Was it an insider who had planned the attack

CeliaIf my eyes could have fallen out of my skull, they would be already rolling on the floor near my feet. What the absolute bullshit was I hearing? For a minute, my mind went blank, and all I heard was the sound of angry growling.I could not stand still any more and I threw the doors open. And there the two brothers were, glaring at each other.Jasper had his hand around Draken’s neck, and Draken was clawing at him to free himself.I shrieked hysterically, “Jasper, please let him go…” Jasper did not even hear me at first, and he kept glaring at Draken. Draken’s eyes soon turned white, and he was turning paler by the second. When Jasper would not listen to me, I went directly in front of him and jumped a little, my hands thrown in the air to make him look at me.“Jasper, please, leave him…now!!”I yelled, and it was only then that Jasper registered my presence. His gray eyes had turned briefly silver for a moment, and I could not help but stare at him in shock. He had gone complet

Jasper I turned my head to look at her from a distance. I could see the nervousness in her gaze, in her body language. My gaze flicked to the guests, all of whom were looking at her. She cleared her throat, “Today is going to be a big day of my life. But before I take that step…I…I wanted to tell you all something.” Her gaze found mine and I only smiled at her. Before she could speak another word, one of the many people in the crowd placed a hand on his chest and bowed down to her. Celia was stunned and watched him In surprise. Behind her, Nymeria, Xenos, and Vasil were slowly descending the stairs too. Following the first person, a few more did the same- place a hand on their chest, their heart to be precise, and bowed to her, going down on one knee. “What is going on?” She asked In a low voice. Soon, everybody followed suit. In a matter of minutes, the entire crowd was on its knees, bowing to her. Her eyes flicked to me and I too did the same gesture. Placing my hand on my

JasperI cleared my throat and looked down at the crowd of people who had come to witness the wedding. There had been no happy event or celebration in the palace after my birth. That day had been a day of celebration but Isadora had turned it into a nightmare. And after all those years, finally, we were having a moment to rejoice. But as I watched the hopeful eyes of the people surrounding me, I could not shake the uneasy feeling gnawing at me.I had to get rid of it. And the only way to do that was to be honest. For a confused moment, I stood on the stairs, looking at the excited faces of the people around me.My gaze flicked to my father and brothers, all of whom were smiling proudly at me.“Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please?” I asked in a loud voice, turning even those heads that had been momentarily distracted while looking at the grandeur of the palace.“First of all, I would like to thank you all for being present today. Frankly, I did not expect so many of

JasperThe huge room suddenly felt too small and the air in the world did not seem enough to fill my lungs.Celia had spoken something, but I was too busy staring at her.My heartbeat was roaring in my ears as I took in her beauty that shone radiantly, nothing short of a thousand lanterns. Her face looked distraught and her eyes were red, her cheeks puffed up. Her makeup had smeared a little too.But despite that, she looked like an angel. A Goddess.I had only seen her in her usual gowns and training clothes, but this marvel…this was just for me.For a minute, I simply stood in front of her, drinking her features. How could she be so blissfully ignorant of what she was doing to me by just standing there in that beautiful dress?I took a step forward, and I saw a tear trickle down her eye.“Shh, don’t cry,” I said softly, reaching for her face and cupping it. And when I did, a surge of electricity rippled through me.My Lycan roared in my head, feeling exhilarated to see her all dolle

CeliaDread settled in my heart when Xenos and Nymeria revealed my life’s biggest secret. My whole life had been a lie?But then what about the people I grew up with thinking they were my parents?Nothing made sense anymore, and I only stared blankly at Xenos.“Is…is that true?”I asked, and he nodded. “There is a reason I never found the courage to tell you all of this earlier. And to be sure that I was not guessing it all wrong, I asked Nymeria to allow me to show her that memory, too. I touched her and with her permission, I looked through her memories…childhood memories, to be specific. There was no trace of me or Isadora in it.”My heart felt like it would break into a million pieces.“But then, how could I never do magic? I never sensed it and…and then why was I not able to fight her when she…she killed me?”I was sobbing hysterically and Nymeria’s face looked like she was cursing herself for ruining my day.She apologized over a thousand times that she did not want me to learn

Celia "Are you going to tell her, or should I?" Nymeria's question hung in the air like a storm cloud, casting a palpable tension in the room. I looked from Nymeria to Xenos, confusion and a growing sense of foreboding twisting in my chest. Their solemn expressions conveyed that something grave was afoot. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, my heart beginning to race. "Tell me what?" I pressed, my voice laced with unease. Xenos, usually a man of few words, hesitated for a moment. His eyes held mine for a second longer than I expected, and I could see a mix of guilt and apprehension in them. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again, the weight of his unspoken words lingering in the room. Nymeria, her expression torn between sympathy and responsibility, finally broke the silence. "Celia, there's something you need to know." I felt a shiver crawl down my spine. The room, once filled with warmth and camaraderie, had now become suffocating with uncertainty. My thoughts raced as

Their skilled hands moved with grace, tending to every detail to transform me into the radiant bride I aspired to be.The maids began to braid my long, dark hair, weaving flowers and jewels into it.As their nimble

"Are you guys ever coming out?" Jasper called with a good-natured grin, standing a few paces away from the porch. He had his hands placed on the doorframe and looked at us with his eyes furrowed as he saw Vasil holding my hand which I gave a gentle squeeze.“Don’t forget what I told you. Think about it,” I added, looking at Vasil while getting up from the chair.Jasper folded his hands over his chest and asked, “What secret are you guys discussing?”Vasil too got up from his chair and gave my arm a light squeeze.“Of course. And just so you know, if he ever hurts you or makes you sad, you know where to find me.”“Ha ha ha, very funny, bloodsucker,” Jasper replied humorlessly and looked at me to indicate that he wanted me to come out of the room.Vasil outstretched his hand as if to say, “After you” and I looked at him with my eyes wide, “Why are you always mean to him?”Jasper grinned, “He tried to take you from me. Am I not great for letting him live?”Vasil, who was just behind me,
