Unexpected passion

Sera's angrily stomped her way into the grand pack house, headed for Lucas's room.

She had never been so fucking angry in her entire life!

And now it was time to confront the source of her misfortune.

Her god forsaken-heartless-stupid—piece of shit fated mate. Lucas!

The door slammed open as Sera burst in to find Lucas standing by the window of his bedroom.

His eyes met hers and surprise flickered across his devastatingly handsome face.

"What the hell? What are you doing here, Sera?" Lucas asked with amusement.

Sera shot him a cold glare.

Heartless bastard!

"I've come to demand something, Lucas. I want you to officially reject me and sever our stupid mating bond.

I want to be free from this pain, from you!."

Lucas's expression immediately hardened into an icy glare.

"And why should I grant you such a foolish request huh? Oh You think I will simply let you go? Why on earth would I ever want to do that?”

"Because you owe me that much!" Sera screeched, her voice dripping with resentment.

"You rejected me in front of everyone, humiliated me. Made me feel like a useless piece right of trash!

Now, I want you to make it official! sever this bond. I refuse to be tied to a man who has no regard for my feelings."

A sly smile curled upon Lucas's lips as he stepped closer, his gaze lingering on Sera's face.

"You underestimate the power of our connection, Sera. I can see the desire in your eyes, Smell your arousal from where I stand. You crave me, don't you? Even after everything."

Sera’s cheeks heat up with shame as she realized he was telling the truth. Despite all the hurt and humiliation he had put her through, Her traitorous body still desired the touch of her mate… Desperately.

His warm breath fanned across her cheek and neck as she turned her face away from him.

Sera's breath caught in her throat as she felt the pull of their mating bond. But she was too angry and humiliated to submit to him.

"Scree you Lucas!," she hissed, her voice filled with hot anger. "I won't be your slut while you marry Amelia and make her your Luna. I deserve more than to be a secret woman you run to whenever you suddenly feel like it."

Lucas pulled her even closer to him, allowing her to feel the thick bulge in his pants.

For a moment, Sera's resolve wavered. The heat of his body, coupled with the magnetic pull of his voice, threatened to suffocate her stubbornness.

But the memory of his humiliation suddenly returned and she struggled against him.

"I said No, Lucas! I deserve love, respect, and honesty. I won't settle for being your secret or your plaything. I won't allow you to degrade me any further."

Sera then tried to shove him away from her but he was stronger and heavier than she had anticipated.

His face turned into a malicious sneer as he tangled her hair in his hand and yanked it hard enough for her to cry out in pain.

“Owww Lucas you’re hurting me!” She cried.

“Shut up you stupid girl, I’ll do more than hurt you the next time you try to stop me from touching your body. YOU BELONG TO ME! So I can do what I want when I want with you!” He yelled at her.

Sera took advantage of their proximity to kick his knee and immediately ran away when he released her with a groan of pain.

“You are making a mistake Sera! I will never let you go.... soon you’ll come crawling back to me when the lust becomes too much!” Lucas yelled behind her.

By the time Sera stormed out of Lucas’s house, the moon already hung high in the night sky.

She wandered around depressed and sad until she unconsciously walked into the forest.

Eventually she reached a clearing near a stream and she sank to her knees, finally allowing herself to cry her heart out.

Suddenly she heard the sound of heavy feet walking towards her. Fear gripped her heart and she scrambled to her feet, her instincts screaming of danger.

But before she could run away, a huge dark figure emerged from the shadows—

it was a tall, broad-shouldered man with thick long dark hair, piercing eyes and other features that was mostly covered by a neat beard.

“Dangerous Rogue!.” Her mind screamed in warning.

“W-who are you! Stay away from me!” She screamed as she stumbled backwards.

Oh goddess! She was so stupid! Everyone knew that Coming into the woods at night was a mistake. On some nights, Dangerous rogue wolves would roam around forest. Desperate for food.

With fear Sera scrambled backwards and accidentally fell into the cold stream behind her with a scream.

The huge stranger immediately rushed into the water and pulled her out before stepping back with his hands up as a sign of harmless intention.

Sera's breath hitched as she took in his presence, he was tall...very tall and broad.... huge was the perfect word.

He had thick muscular arms and intense dark eyes.

He had not yet said a word to her but her initial fear gave way to a newfound curiosity. There was an air of mystery about him, an aura of strength and power that captured her attention.

Unsure of his intentions, Sera took a cautious step back, careful not to fall again, her wet body trembled from the cold.

"W-Who are you? What do you want?"

The man held up his hands in a gesture of peace, his voice calm and soothing.

"Don’t be scared, little girl. I’m not trying to hurt you. I saw you crying alone in this dark forest and wanted to offer my help. I never meant to scare you."

Damn! His voice was deep!

A little relief washed over Sera but she was still suspicious.

She cautiously approached the stranger, her voice filled with gratitude and caution.

"Thank you, but I must admit, I was a little scared and I overreacted. I thought you were one of those dangerous rogues around."

A warm smile graced the man's lips, his eyes reflecting understanding. "I assure you, I am not a rogue.

My name is Gabriel and I’m just a wanderer looking for peace and quiet in these woods.

Are you alright though? Can I offer you some help? The night air is cold, and you seem to be shivering in that thin dress."

It’s true, the air was freezing! And she was pretty sure her nipples were poking a hole through her dress at this point.

“Can he see them?” She wondered with a blush.

Gabriel extended a comforting hand towards Sera. "Please, come with me. My hut is not far from here. You can change into dry clothes and warm up there."

Sera hesitated for a moment, her gaze shifting between Gabriel and her own damp clothes.

If she refused his help, she could freeze to death or get attacked by an actual rogue.

So With a nod, she accepted his offer and followed him through the moonlit forest.

The path led them to a small, cozy hut nestled amidst the trees. Gabriel quickly fetched a fresh set of clothes for Sera while she gratefully removed her wet garments.

The clothes he gave her was one of his big shirts. It draped over her in a way that made her look more smaller and vulnerable.

She looked over to see him tending to a fire as he cooked a pot of tea on it.

Her eyes scanned over his huge sexy form again and she felt a familiar heat bloom inside her belly. He was definitely the sexiest man she had ever seen. A jolt of lust raced through her body and she shivered involuntarily.

Gabriel noticed it. “If you’re still cold, you can sit closer to me, our combined body heat will keep you warm.... I promise, I won’t do anything you won’t want me to.”
