Suspicion

Alistair cheeks turned a bright shade of red before he started trying to clear his throat.

"It's uh… it’s nothing, Grace. It’s was Just a little...unexpected—“ he wasn’t able to finish his sentence before he began to cough and tried to cover his note.

Grace eyes lit up and she finally burst out laughing loudly.

“Oh Alistair…. don’t tell me you cant handle a little poop smell.”

Alistair shot her a glare. “This isn’t a little poop smell Grace. It smells like the poop of satan himself! What the hell do the twins eat?!”

As if on cue… Ben let out a little fart and giggled like he found Alistair’s torment amusing. Alistair narrowed his eyes at the boy.

“You think you’re funny huh young man?.”

The baby giggled again, and his chubby cheek revealed a little dimple that looked to similar to the kings.

Alistair would never ever admit it out loud to anyone ever!, but the smile of these boys made his heart flutter in ways that he never even knew was possible.
