James’s Password

James's phone came to life in Sera’s hand, and Sera’s heart started pounding furiously in nervous anticipation.

She would soon find the answers to all her questions. All she had to do was research the phone.

Finally, the phone finished booting, and the screensaver came up.

"I think I should start with his messages," Sera thought to herself. "I need to know who he's talking to, how long they have been talking, and who else could be betraying us."

Sera pressed the menu button to look for the messaging, but then something happened that caused her to feel the worst type of disappointment in the history of disappointments.

The goddamn phone was locked with a fucking password!

Sera felt like screaming in frustration. “Of course! Of course, things couldn't be that easy. For once in my life, can't things just be easy for me?” she screamed into the air, presumably talking to the universe or maybe the goddess.
