CHAPTER 85

Tristan's POV

I read through the letter the council of Elders had sent to me and tugged at my beards. This meeting was unavoidable and I didn't have the balls for it.

First off, I had pending pack issues that I needed to settle and secondly, attending a meeting filled with pack elders was equal to sanction and this was something I didn't want for myself.

Mika was still recuperating, in fact her father laid down strict warnings that I stayed away from her till she recovers fully and be able to make her own decisions.

Respecting boundaries provided ample time to pursue personal interests without interference.

Conspiracy theories flooded in my head regarding the elders' reasons for convening an impromptu meeting at such a time.

I knew we had stuff to handle as a pack and tongues were already wagging because of the present state of the pack but I held pack meetings every now and then to assure them that I had measures put in place and in no distant time, everything would fall into place
