CHAPTER 63

Tristan's POV

Six hours.

Mika has been in the hospital for six good hours and still, the doctors were not out to give me feedback on her current state.

I was beginning to regret my words, I shouldn't have told her I was going to reject the mate bond. That must have triggered the asthma attack.

Yes, the doctor said Mika had asthma and she had not had an asthma attack in years. He stated that it was very serious so she had to be on oxygen for a couple of days to aid her breathing.

I pleaded with my male Beta not to inform Mika's father, if he found out his precious daughter was in the hospital, and worse still because of me, he would rip my skull apart without mercy.

I feel like a horrible person.

Looking at it from another angle, I felt like I was the reason all this was happening. If I hadn't come to Nightshade Pack and asked for a merge, none of this would have happened and neither of the women would have fallen in love with me.
