CHAPTER 123

Gianna's POV

Dane stayed back in his office for the night to review some documents and as such, I had to sleep alone making the night short and uneventful and plagued with nightmares.

I woke up and glanced at the table clock in my room and it said 9:28. I guess I had managed to fall asleep in the early hours of the morning and I didn't realize it.

My stomach growled, I barely ate anything last night, and hunger was dealing with me already. 

Right now, I was supposed to be with Dayna, to assist her with the pups or Angel who was going to be my guide today to shop. I couldn't help but wonder where Dane got the money from, even when he said he was broke.

I stood up from my bed, yawning hungrily and stretching my limbs. After I heard a satisfactory crack, I made an exit out of the room after changing into a simple choice of clothing and performed my morning hygiene.
