Gianna's POV
It's been six hours since Dane left and I've not been myself ever since. After I saw him off at the airport this morning in the company of the Beta, who was glaring at me for no reason, I returned back to the pack house, assisted Dayna for a while because we had some emergencies that took like three hours of my time.
I also handled some meetings too, more like checking documents and handling the supervision of the payment of taxes which Dane had instructed me to do before his departure.
My bones ached and my body felt like lead, so I decided to calm my nerves by having a hot shower.
The scent of the shampoo soothed my muscles as I listened to classical music playing from the radio. Despite a few hours since our dinner night, I couldn't stop thinking about Dane and his lingering kisses.
