Run or face the truth

I felt my body drift in and out of sleep for hours, and I felt like I was floating on a cloud. I opened my eyes to see that I was not in my room anymore, and my heat from the other night was gone.

which was weird because normally I would be in bed and still in pain for two more days, but then it came rushing back to me what I did last night. It was obvious from the torn sheets and pillows that I was laying in a mess I created.

Last night Killian had taken me multiple times to calm the fiery heat in me, and just the thought of sending a shock of pleasure down the pit of my stomach made me look, and I turned to the right to see the space next to me was empty.

Meaning Killian was out, and I had my thoughts to myself for the next few minutes, I lay in silence as I tried to calm my heavy breathing, I pushed myself off the bed and tried to study meals as my leg felt like it was melting icicles,
