From the moment that Marcel had come to take me back home, my mind had gone blank in the car, and I blacked out without knowing it.

But right now, why am I seeing her here? Why am I seeing Brynn lying beside me with the feel of crisp white sheets surrounding our bodies as I watch her smile?

But the moment I tried reaching out for her, it felt like a dream as she faded. No one was beside me anymore as the nightmare replayed. I found myself on that dreaded cliff, watching as the car ran over the rocks over and over again while I watched in that dreaded storm.

It was pure torture for me, from the inside out, yet I could do nothing but watch as Brynn died. "Brynn!” I shouted.

My eyes quickly shot open as I was in shock. I quickly sat up from the bed, my body heated and sweaty from the nightmare. Why, just as I was still dreaming of her, was any dream trying so hard to tell me? I wondered.
