"Argh, ouch!" Brynn hissed as Killian threw another punch at her, but he was too fast that she could hardly block it In time, her body ached from his merciless and evasive punches.

" ok! Ok! Time out!" She groaned as she picked herself up from the floor to meet the gaze of Killian, who looked almost amused by how miserable she looked. "Stop gloating"

"I’m not, and you’re doing so good, little wolf," Jillian whispered in Brynn's ears. That brought a pink hue back to her cheeks from his praise, as Killian had been training for the last few weeks and his hand had become better.

"You were in a cast just a few weeks ago, and now you pack a mean punch; it makes no sense!" Brynn complains to Killian, who just smirks.

"You have a lot to learn, little wolf, but for now, I need you to run three miles across the beach bed, and I will be watching from my office."

"You’re not coming?"

"Not today, no, I have something to attend, so five miles?"

"I thought you’d just said three?!"
