80: The News of Mating Season
It had been two weeks since Kenzie started looking for a job, but she hadn't had any luck. Apparently, there were a lot of jobs available on the ship, but none of them were jobs that she'd be able to do for one reason or another, and it was beginning to frustrate her. She'd always been an independent person, even when she was a kid. She preferred to earn the money she needed instead of it just being given to her. So, having to rely on Viper so heavily and not being able to contribute was starting to get on her last nerve. Though she knew it shouldn't have.

Viper was angry as he killed the werewolf that had just injured the human. Jumping down from his ledge, he injected himself fully into the battle. He'd been enjoying watching the humans battle the creatures. They were very skilled. Firing his mini cannon, Viper picked them off one by one. He could have shifted into full Lycan form and fought them, but he had not wanted to scare the female, and his weapons were always effective. It did not take long for the room to become silent, as the deformations lay dead on the floor. Remembering that they still couldn't see him, Viper uncloaked himself. He watched as the female human’s eyes became wide, but he wasn't sure that it was with fright. Her wound was bleeding. Viper was sure it pained her. She smelled of blood and…curiosity?
