58: More Training
It was the third day after her fight with Viper and as she suspected, it had not been over. However, they had not fought again. No, instead Kenzie had found herself sleeping alone for the past two nights. She didn't like it. She had become so used to sleeping next to him, that she would wake up and reach for him several times throughout the night. Only to become increasingly more disappointed when he wasn't there.
He avoided her throughout the day. Locking himself away in the weapons room. If she happened to catch him outside of it, he would simply bypass her without a word. It hurt, but Kenzie could not say she blamed him. She had all but questioned his ability to keep her safe. She had questioned the way he felt about her.
