Kenzie sat on the couch absentmindedly petting Rain. Colby's birthday was tomorrow, and she didn't have a clue what they were going to do. Had they been on Earth, she, her parents and her grandfather would have taken him to his favorite restaurant. Her grandfather would have gotten him something he could make explode and her parents would have protested, before giving in. She would have gotten him something simple. Like a new game for his game system or something.
Those were the things that would have happened were they still on Earth, but that wasn't the case, and she was at a loss. Her only hope was to find something at the tholus for him, but she would have to wait until Viper got back to go. He had become a bit paranoid with her leaving their home without him.
