OLIVIA

“So if I get you clearly, you're saying there's a woman out there with a striking resemblance to me. She's been through a lot and you want me to go see her because you think I can help her heal from her trauma?” I asked my mate, unsure of his response.

“Right.” He confirmed. With the way he's looking at me with skepticism, I can tell he is afraid that I would not buy his idea. Far from it, I'm rather impressed at how thoughtful he is.

With how big, stoic and proud he is, you would think he had no emotion somewhere inside of him but I know better.

“Baby, if you're not comfortable with it, we can just let it pass.” He tapped me, bringing me out of my thoughts.

“Sure. Why not? I'll go see her.” I assured him with a smile. “I was just thinking about how, you know, how thoughtful you are, so different from your outward appearance.”

“Really, Via?” He faked a frown, pretending to be hurt. “What happened to not judging a book by its cover?” He complained.

OLIVIA I sighed as I stepped out of the bathroom. The hot shower seemed to wash a little bit of the gnawing feeling of unease that threatened to overwhelm me. I slipped into a freshly laundered clean white t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans, deliberately wearing a matching outfit with Cameron. Following Cameron's order to always get me fed, we both walked downstairs to the dining, my stomach rumbling slightly the moment I sat down for breakfast. “Sorry,” I looked up at Cameron, slightly flustered. “You shouldn't be, baby.” He said, giving me a peck on the forehead, his right hand stroking my hair as he took the seat next to me. ‘This is all thanks to you anyway.’ I mindlinked him. It isn't out of place for me to blame him seeing as he did not let me sleep the whole night. He smirked. ‘I take it that you are well satisfied this morning. So what if I do want more now? Huh?’ He mindlinked me back, the weight on his large palm on my thighs as he rubbed them gently. I felt my cheek b

  • The Lycan Prince's Mate    CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN OLIVIA I stood shocked and speechless when I was greeted with the most beautiful pair of eyes that I never expected to see again. Maybe deep down, I longed to see them even if it was just once. Now that I got the chance to, I had no idea on how to react or what I was even supposed to do. Without saying a word, I turned on my heels, heading straight out of the room to save myself the troubles of acting on impulse. ‘Right. Like you did not just act on impulse right now.’ Ava reminded me, not failing for once in keeping the records straight. Yeah, maybe I did. Better than screaming or crying, wasn't it? I pondered on what to do next as my legs carried me round the pack house. I paused to make out the sound of approaching footsteps that distracted me from my thoughts with the intruder coming into view seconds later. “Mind if I join you, Princess?” The Red Moon pack Luna bowed slightly. Did she just address me so formally again? I had thought she did so earlier

CAMERON I stared at the woman in my arms, my lips slightly agape. Her brows are furrowed in worry as she looked up at me, expecting me to scold her or even do something worse. I mean, she actually thought I would be mad at her? I shook my head slowly while still staring deep into her gorgeous green orbs. Why should I be? “You are not going to scold me?” She asked further, maybe to get a definite answer from me this time with her eyes not leaving mine. “I never would, baby.”Not when I am actually here to comfort you, I wanted to add. I reached out for a strand of her hair, tugging it gently and lowering my head down to the level of her ears, my lip nibbling gently on one of her earlobes. If only she knew how strongly I had felt her emotions all the while, her feeling of anxiety throughout the ride down to this pack, her skepticism as soon as we got down from the car and even her shock and sadness on seeing Clara. After she left the hospital room, I had allowed her some space jus

OLIVIA ‘Why can I still smell you on the door?’ I chided him over the mindlink, even though he said nothing, I could still feel him smile over the mindlink. ‘Make sure you aren't listening in on our conversation.’ I warned, without a trace of seriousness in my voice. I knew Cameron wasn't bothered about what mom and I had been discussing. Man was bothered about his mate, that I am pretty sure of. ‘Just hanging around, keeping you safe from bad emotions.’ He joked. Deep down, I knew he meant it and truly, he kept to his words as terror washed through me over and over again while Mom opened up on all she had been through. All through the time she spoke, I could mirror her change of emotions, her rage, sadness and sorrow, through all these, her spirit was still as strong as ever. I didn't bother interrupting her as my own feelings of anger almost consumed me save for Cameron's interference with the mate bond. At some point, she allowed the tears she had held in all the years flow

OLIVIA Whether it were humans or shifters, no man wanted to share the attention of his mate with another, be it an ex or whosoever.I figured I had upset my mate by bringing up the issue of my ex-mate so I decided to pleasure him for a change. To be sincere, I enjoyed the look of surprise on his face when I offered to bathe him myself. Not like I did offer though, the plan was to make it sound like an order which I pulled off and like I expected, he did not mind at all. Against my better judgement, I decided to test him a bit. I tightened my lips on his huge cock and bobbed my head up and down with speed until I felt his body tense up.“Don't come yet,” I commanded, with a mischievous smile on my face. I wanted to see just how much I could tease him before he snapped. “Look at me.” I commanded again, smiling inwardly as my big bad Alpha did just as I commanded. The idea of him looking down at me while I fed his primal needs caused sweet fuzzy feelings to settle in my stomach. A sm

OLIVIA The strong smell of freshly brewed coffee that hit my nostrils woke me up from my beauty sleep. I felt sore, not the bad kind of sore I mean. Memories from the previous night flooded my mind and I tried to smile but it came out groggy with my eyes still heavy from sleepiness. I rubbed my eyes before stretching my body and yawning a bit. “Wake up, sleepyhead and stop keeping our mate waiting.” Ava snorted, startling me awake. Another sweet smell of fresh coffee and rain made itself known as Cameron stumbled over to me. “Good morning my sweet.” He placed a peck on my forehead and another on my cheek.I mumbled a small greeting in return and blinked my eyes rapidly to clear the remaining bits of sleepiness off my eyes and then rolled towards the bedstand to take a look at …It was missing. There was nothing on the bedstand.“You must be looking for this?” Cameron smirked, alongside a raise of his right hand that held what I was looking for. We made our way to the waiting cars as a group. We're traveling with all three cars in the mansion and our luggage had already been filed in the trunks of the cars the previous day. Lily hopped into the black Audi with her mate driving them both. While Cameron and I sit in the SUV with mom in the front passenger seat alongside Landon who would be driving us. The last car was to follow us from behind and it's being driven by someone I figured is from the council as it was pretty obvious from their aura that the two men in the car are Lycans. We arrived Silverton kingdom after what seemed like a long hell of a ride. If I'm not mistaken, it took us about three hours to get here. The Silverton kingdom, being in charge of all the wolves in the southern werewolf kingdom, had the council built on their land. Taking a good look at the areas my eyes can see at a time, it's clear that the land mass can certainly host three large packs of wolves.Landon made a detour through another tarred ro

OLIVIA In spite of Cameron's constant assurance of his family loving me ever since he told them he had found me, I still found myself being a little bit wary and uncertain. Today was the day we were to go back to his kingdom and despite not having to do so much, I still put in some effort to look elegant while still keeping it simple. I put on a pair of navy blue tailored skirt and a simple cream colored blouse. I styled my hair into a low ponytail and used the hot tong to curl a few strands into ringlets, letting them fall down the sides of my face. I looked into the mirror to check myself out when Cameron wrapped me with his arms, leaning his head on my shoulder. “You look just perfect.” He complimented, going ahead to kiss the nape of my neck. A tingle reverberated on the spot, spreading through my body. “Is Mac back?” I inquired from Cameron. Mac had gone to Cold Moon to pick up his mate, Lily. As someone who worked directly for the King, Mac was unable to stay elsewhere excep

  • The Lycan Prince's Mate    CHAPTER FORTY FIVE

CHAPTER FORTY FIVE OLIVIA My mate's deep voice filtering in my mind was no longer a surprise. Cameron often reached out to me whenever he felt my emotions and sometimes, he had a clue to my thoughts. ‘Nothing I can't handle.’ I answered. The last thing I wanted was for my mate to appear here because of this crazy nutcase. That would be so unnecessary plus, she was mine to handle. Suddenly, Lily shrieked in alarm. Lisa had drawn out the claws of her uninjured hand to attack me. I released my aura in full, hitting both Lisa and Bella who chose to make her appearance at this time with the latter flopping down on her friend. Unfortunately for Lily, she had her back smashed against the wall. I made a mental note to apologize to Lily later on. Bella as an alpha wolf, hoisted herself up almost immediately, looking astounded and annoyed. She sustained an injury from the fall as blood was trickling down the right side of her face. “What's the meaning of..” She paused, stopping to glare h

OLIVIA I refrained myself from laughing as I stepped out of the SUV. Who ever advised someone about being careful in such a loud and icy tone? The beta and gamma couple stood waiting to receive us. I reciprocated their greetings, making my way past the clearing they had formed to allow me to pass through. With the smell of fear thick in the air and the confliction in the eyes of most of the Cold Moon members as I made my way through them, I knew they had heard my mate's clear warning to them about being careful of his mate. I had hardly stepped into the pack house when a familiar figure rushed down the stairs, hoping towards me. “Olivia.” She squealed, throwing her arms around me in delight. “Lily.” I muttered in return, excited to see her too. “I'm so glad to see you again.” She released me from her embrace and stepped back to check me out, a knowing look in her eyes. “I'm fine now, Lily.” I squeezed her palm gently. Not that I needed to tell anyone, as the glow is so visible.
