Nikolai I used my gun and shot the three wolves that were coming at me in quick succession. Before I could aim at the fourth one, a deep, rumbling growl hit my ears. Avalyn My first walk with Papa seemed ages ago. All of us had gotten very busy after that. We hardly saw each other. Especially Nik and I. But we developed a schedule. He would wake me up in the morning with either breakfast in bed and then we would go for a short run around the pack, or we would engage in early morning sex before a quick breakfast and then we would part ways.
