After what happened yesterday, I had been wary of Dimitri all day. He finally got tired of me running away from him and avoiding him and confronted me. He confessed and told me that it had all been just to figure out a way to help me. And it did. He told me that he had vaguely informed Rose and Sunflower about our dilemma and they readily volunteered to help. And apparently, those lashes weren’t ‘real’ lashes and their screams were fake. They had been exaggerating their pain. I understood how one could fake scream but fake lashes were difficult to digest, especially after I had seen the whole thing first-hand.
