Ana will let Roman mark her! Will something prevent it from happening though? Please vote for this story and follow me! Thank you for the support!
-Anastasia- What the fuck had I just promised Roman? After we had left the bed, changed and cleaned up, we went down to eat breakfast. Roman convinced me to eat with all the others. While the lycans there said little, I could still feel them being skeptical about me being there. I wouldn’t let them scare me. I refused to show any lycan fear after my parents’ death. I would show them all, and I met the eyes who dared to look at me. They seemed impressed, and it surprised me when they turned less skeptical and turned back to their conversations. I looked around confused before my eyes landed on Roman, who was smiling. He leaned closer to me as he grabbed my hand. “I think you just proved to them why you’re a perfect fit for me,” he whispered. “What do you mean?” “Not all wolves can just look a lycan in the eyes, and you just did it to several,” he said and smiled, impressed. “That’s why my mate and queen should be able to do.” He leaned closer and kissed my cheek, smiling, still ver
-Roman- “That really was an awful shot,” I told my mate as she stood leaning over a pool table. After our long walk, we had gone back, poured ourselves some drinks and then we had decided to play a game of pool. Ana had no talent for it, though. I believed she had never played, despite knowing the rules somewhat. “I never said I was a pro,” she said and looked at me, annoyed. “Sore loser?” “Annoyed loser,” she said. I chuckled, and shook my head a little, before I leaned over the table and made an excellent shot, which just made her roll her eyes. I was not going to go easy on her. She had to learn the hard way, and I was close to winning. I just needed to get the black eight ball down into one of the holes as well. I smiled at her before I took the shot, but then she blocked the hole with her hand. Our eyes locked, and she smiled mischievously at me. I slowly stood up, placing one hand on the table, tapping a finger against it. “That’s called cheating,” I told her. “Oh?” “And
-Roman- While I, of course, had work, I didn’t spend much time apart from my mate. Some days she did go exploring the area and we wouldn’t see each other much until we went to bed together and had our nightly ritual before sleeping. But many of the days leading to the party, she joined me in the office and we went over what she would now help to take care of. There was a time when the queen wasn’t that involved, but my parents had both been great rulers, and they worked together. I wanted the same for me and my mate. It would not be something old and traditional where the queen just sat and looked pretty and took care of throwing parties. No, Ana would be involved, and she actually seemed very interest in all of what I told her. I could see her changing over the days we spent together. She was coming out of her shell, slowly taking part in the conversation we had around the dining table, and I could see my pack members warming up to her and finding an interest in her. It warmed my hea
-Roman- I watched my mate watching herself in the mirror. She was wearing a beautiful dark purple dress tonight, which fit her so well. I could see how nervous she looked, though. She had not even noticed me yet, even if I was standing in her line of sight. She could see me in the mirror, but Ana was too focused on how nervous she was about tonight. There was nothing to be nervous about. She was my queen and soon everyone would see her as their queen as well. I smiled, feeling such happiness swirl around inside of me just watching her. This was the power of having a mate. A mate you loved and who I had loved with my body over and over after I had her the first time. We had barely left the bed that day, and only rested to eat a little before it continued. We couldn’t get enough of each other. Always hungry for more, and just as I stood there watching her, I felt my blood pumping. It was as if she felt me and quickly turned, smiling at me. “You look amazing,” I said. “You think?” I w
-Anastasia- I barely remembered why tonight was so important. Roman made it so easy to forget, and when he told me he needed me, I just told him to take me. I couldn’t think when he touched me, and as I had him inside of me, I forgot all about what my actual plan was tonight. I was ready to just go back to bed and continue what we had begun. But as I entered the bathroom, I slowly came to realize what tonight really was about. I was going to make them pay. All of them or whoever showed up tonight. I would make them all pay. Ready? “Definitely,” I whispered, as I got cleaned up and then washed my hands. I looked into the mirror, seeing my eyes shine. Sierra was present, and she was ready for what we had to do tonight. It would be quick and subtle. I had planned something longer and more painful. But I wanted to start my life with Roman. Even if I didn’t catch all tonight, I would make sure they paid later, but I wanted to start my life with Roman, feeling more at peace, and I knew I
-Anastasia- Instead of saving Roman and torturing myself by going back to him, I stayed with Daphne. I did feel a little bad, but I really couldn’t handle those people and listening to them gossiping. I could see Roman was trying to escape so he could join us. But every time he ended one conversation, more wanted to talk to him. I knew I had to go be with him. I was his queen, after all, and I was just about to excuse myself when someone called out to me. “Ana!” Suddenly Jackson came pushing through the enormous crowd and I smiled at him, walking over to him and I surprised him as I hugged him. “What the…” I pulled back and chuckled. I was better at accepting people’s touch if I had initiated it. Jackson was very surprised, though, and just looked at me like I was a stranger. “You’re not Ana,” he said. “Funny!” We both laughed, and I then grabbed his hand and pulled him over to where Daphne was. But when I focused on her again, she had almost paled. “Eh, Daphne, this is my cou
-Roman- I was away from my mates for 30 minutes or something and I had missed so much. I thought she and Daphne had just hit it off and then she had decided to go find something to drink, but it seemed like so much more had happened. Jackson and Daphne were mates! What the hell? Not that I thought Jackson was a bad person, but like he had been protective of his cousin, I was protective of Daphne. “What?” Ana asked. “Don’t you like Jackson?” “I don’t know Jackson that well,” I told her. “But it’s an alpha thing. Daphne is like family to me.” “Isn’t Jackson sort of family to you too?” “Now it is beginning to sound like incest,” I said a little jokingly, and Ana rolled her eyes. “Seriously…” she mumbled and crossed her arms. “No, but I just… know she has been through a lot. Maybe this is a bit too much for her right now,” I said. “Actually, I think it was. She took off.” “She took off?” I scouted through the crowd, hoping to find her, but Ana quickly brought my attention back to
-Anastasia- My uncle and aunt found us a little later in the evening. My aunt let out a happy squeal as she found me and then grabbed my uncle’s hand, running over to us and hugging me hard. “I have missed you so much!” “I have only been out of the house for two weeks,” I told her. “And it has been so quiet!” she told me. I pulled back and looked at her weirdly. I barely made any sounds. I barely talked. I didn’t make messes or threw big house parties. Jackson and his friends were the loud ones, so I did not know what she was talking about. “Quiet?” “Okay, not quiet in that way,” she said and brushed a small strand of hair away from my face. “But I do feel you aren’t there.” “Because there isn’t a dark cloud hanging over the house?” I joked. My aunt rolled her eyes before she focused on Roman and me together. “I see things are going great,” she said as she saw the arm he had around me and the smile on our lips. It was hard to hide how happy we were, and why should we? I didn
