Alyssa’s point of view

A week later

“No! NO!” I cried trying to run as fast as my feet could carry me out of the forest.

“We can’t let him catch us,” Ligia urged as I ran as fast as my feet could carry me. I needed to get out of her no matter what.

There was no looking back for me. I had to leave this place without looking back; if he caught us, we were dead.

“Run Alyssa! Run!” the voice came as I reached the end of the road with nowhere to go.

“I got you now!” The familiar voice came, hearing the contentment in his voice.

I gasped for air waking up from the bed as I brought my hand to my chest. Looking around the room.

“Alyssa!” Frey said as I gasped looking at her, a sweat breaking out of me as I brought my hand to my chest.

“Frey?” I asked as she nodded her head tears filling her eyes as I swallowed hard looking around the room where I was. I was back in my room back at the pack.

“Is this a dream?” I asked her as she came closer throwing her hands around me.
